If you're using synthoceps with bottom tree striker, it might be also worth switching to eternal warrior when your super is ready. Makes the super even better, and afterwards just swap back to synthoceps.

I’ll stick to my oppressive tethers and will give a cold hard “fuck you” to people using these cheeses. Sure I could get triple kills with my grenades but kinda hard when I’m now 960+ and many are farther ahead than I am in power. Also the hunter and titan builds goes away at the end of the season and not the warlock build. There is a reason I say contraverse hold needs to be looked at again, surviving a point blank shot from last man standing shouldn’t happen outside of tanky supers.

@@Duarte_GB yea but the reliable way of getting it is grinding all high loot high difficulty activities like raids and nightfall ordeals and as collage student in the south emisphere (so now it's spring and summer is coming) the last of the schooling year is kicking in so I can't devote my life to D2 so I live on with the weekly Xûr engram and whatever Xûr might be selling.
For the warlock you can double down on Demolishionist weapons using Breach Refractor. Get a SMG or hand cannon with it, slap anti-barrier rounds on, and slap on BR once or twice and benefit. This can be useful for those who don't have good discipline rolls on their highest power armor or have bad RNG with the Hold. Also note: Hand Held Super Nova can be used in super and the damage reduction from the Hold and super stack. Activating your super also immediately recharges your grenade. Not mentioned; but abyssal darkness also straight buffs the Hand Held Super Nova itself. You can see it go from 50 damage to 66 in the video. This gives it potential to outright dawn supers. Overload grenades and overload spike hamper enemy ability generation. So you can use this against people also attempting similar builds, should the HHSN not outright kill your opponent
I disagree with that warlock built, we can make that MUCH better. Use the ballstic combo mod on your chest piece, using a glitch you can use TWO of them by unequipping the chest piece and then attach the second mod. This allows more grenade energy per kill when using a weapon with the anti-barrier rounds. Getting one or two kills will give you a nade back in case you missed your supernova nade. Best weapon for this is obviously Recluse. Also, instead of opressive darkness on your class item, use ashes to assets or enhanced ashes to assests. You get maaaad super energy per nade kill. I was getting 2 to 3 supers a match.

As a Contraverse Voidlock main, if you are gonna do the build do it right. Recluse with shield penetrating rounds mod plus double breach refractor on your chest piece.
Only problem there is Dynamo & Arc Battery are both on the Cloak, iirc. Also, Knifeslinger is the better subclass tree for that, since you can easily get back dodges by burning enemies.
With the Titan build you don’t need your ability to proc the one hit melee potential, so really kind of pointless to waste all that energy for strength mods. For the hunter build, IMO, focused breathing gives you your ability back so fast, it seems sort of pointless for the paragon mods. All personal opinions of course
Yesterday I was running top tree arc strider with Liar's Handshake and the Hands On mod. I don't think I fired a round in about five matches. Just kept hollering "I PUNCH YOU!" at my screen.
I just reached 5500 and I was never a pvp player and so if anyone wants advice on top of this video, if you re a hunter do the arc battery and wormhusk build, with bottom tree arcstrider and 5 dynamo mods. For titan obv one eyed mask, 5 super mods, thunder coil mod and bottom tree arcstrider, for warlock like kackis said oppressive darkness, contraverse hold and 5 dicipline mods. These ARE the metas for any pvp. Jade rabbits work great in against not forgottens(basically match the same if you dont own a NF). Jotuuns work great against fuckers who put on erentils. Aggressive frame shotguns kill in one shot, slug shotguns kill one shot from far if they are headshots like gunnoras axe or chaperone, and precision frame shotguns are best in range but usually take two shots to kill. Its best to put icarus grip on shottys if you jump above people a lot. Sprint grip if you keep it on the ground or run & slide a lot. If you want to be the biggest meta bitch just pop on a shotty and stompees on a hunter with 100 mobility and you ll be godly. Maybe a void subclass with top tree where dodging grants you invisibility.

Need to clarify that you can not hold the grenade very long at all. Seems like you have to be fairly quick on getting grenade ready till when you release.

I used synthoceps with monte carlo, at the end of the match I had the most kills, 27 kills to be exact, between both teams, ALL melee, barely fired the Monte Carlo
Top tree striker titan + An Insurmountable Skullfort + thunder coil and one hit everyone who is not in super without anything to activate(yeah you need to sprint a little) -> kill someone whith melee and you have melee again and you can save the strength mods and use recorvery or whatever. Weapons doesn't matter because you just running around like a maniac.
You dont even need to run paragon mods on the hunter build as long as youre using bottom tree arcstrider, it fills itself up so fast that as long as you have even a short run from fight to fight itll recharge in time
Its funny that these are the builds that make the opposing team rage but ive made a good build my self. One that can sometimes one punch that dodging over shield hunters and those pesky dash titans. Made it from trial and error. Alot of testing and messing around was at play. Not to mention im using this obsurd high impact AR with maxed out range, gets the job done. No need for the common metas.

After playing with these today, I’d definitely say rock something else for the lock. I really like transversive steps, and without it or astrocyte verse, warlock just gets punished much easier than the other two classes.
I have been working on my pvp builds lately and i have found some success with my solar warlock. I use top tree dawnblade with empowerment rift and have starfire protocol equiped as well. At first i lost and died a lot, but when i used randys throwing knife or a pulse rifle in the rift i started seeing myself get kills and my grenade regen/kills were crazy. For the secondary weapon i used a hand cannon to finish off the other players in case the grenades did not kill them. Still working on my hunter and titan, although i do have an idea for my titan i just have to get acd/0 feedback fence then i can test it. Hopefully xur takes pity on me and gives it to me friday.
I just got OEM and i don't really like it.. Sometimes it doesn't work and mark them and it's so useless vs shotguns/snipers. Also sometimes i don't get overshield when i kill people who have damaged me
Love your vids but as a hunter main i am bored watching pvp vids because its always the same wurmhusk build try doing something else like shinobus or a brand new build
Basically just two builds that can actually kill anyone and then one for the hunter that may... MAY keep you alive... I don't see nothing wrong here...
Funny I'm wrecking in pvp with controverse hold and top tree void lock. Oppressive darkness and enhanced ashes to assets.. double kills are actually more often with charged grenades and super gets charged fast.
The ultimate “What is aim?” Build: Insert Shotgun or SMG, Jotunn + Galanor/Blade Barrage with a high int/recovery. Heavy sword just in case. Works wonders for lazy people like me!

for the titan you actualy dont need the melle to be charged, the knockout buff its for the class and its not for just charged melle kills

Add in a Dynamo mod in that hunter mix and you can boost Super recharge ad well. It works. Paragon and Dynamo mods combo very nicely.

On my titan I use either worm god or dune marchers. Both work really well with melees and thunder coil
Also dont forget on the titan unstoppable melee and a SMG with swashbuckler to further increase you melee damage and to break through shields easier
