For the Whisper loadout where he chose a shotgun for primary I think he forgot about Mountain top, I'd say the best combo for someone wanting to use Whisper is Mountain/Recluse/Whisper for sure.

Tw33zD rampage increases damage of the weapon for each kill up to x3 then onslaught increases fire rate for each stack of rampage. But with a recent nerf this gun has become broken so it has stopped working as it should

My personal loadout I’m loving is top tree arcstrider with liars handshake, One small step in kinetic with 1/2 punch, recluse with anti barrier, and whisper of the worm. You can DPS with either whisper or 1/2 depending if the enemy is close enough, and thunder coil makes the damage worth it
Bruh. I'm running bottom tree tether with opressive darkness vortex nades, got a tranquility with firing line and auto loading holster and I got a swarm with spike nades and auto loading holster. Nothing survives! Max discipline with the breach refractory (anti barrier round kills act like demolitionist) on recluse I'm always debuffing and melting everything.

When building lists like this, does anybody ever look at DARCI? Its another heavy/power sniper with a really easy to use damage bonus perk. I feel like everyone sleeps on this gun

The love and death will out DPS prospector and wendigo even during the X6 explosive light if you have even the slightest benefit of full court plus spike and field prep. Ehroar has done a video explaining this further. @humandxp be careful though since the tribute hall has infinite power scaling so all weapons you test there need to be the same power and you need to be the same power each time to get accurate numbers.

Goal: To provide players with useful and legible feedback for damage dealt to enemy combatants across many years of Power progression.
Displayed damage numbers for damage dealt to non-Guardian enemy combatants are crunched
Damage dealt is displayed using fewer digits to enhance readability of damage output
Occurrences of displayed damage getting capped at 999,999 should be significantly reduced or eliminated
The exponential curve used to calculate damage numbers for display is replaced with a new linear curve that is built to last for many years
As players grow in Power, displayed damage numbers increase at a much more measured pace than previously
This is a UI update only; player damage output, whether measured as hits to kill, time to kill, or DPS, remains unchanged by this update
Last two times I did GoS my boss fight loadout was Tranquility (with firing line), Recluse and DARCI and I outdamaged my team both times. It may not be optimal but it works well for me and my style.

I’ve been using the Prospector for a while, and it’s absolutely amazing
Because of this video I learned that I have actual good loadouts sitting around. I don't have Izanagi's and still farming for a good Tranquility, but I do have a Firing Line Soul Survivor sitting around. I also have the Prospector and Lord of Wolves. Definitely going to be running around with Lord of Wolves loadout tonight to try it out.

I've been gone for awhile and it's nice to know some of the exotics I got y1 are still good and relevant
One loadout I found really good is divinity with a aggressive frame spike nade launcher. Specifically if it has auto-loading holster. Using divinity you can get the enemy debuffed, then swap to the launcher, shoot of 1/2 a mag and swap back. Because you're swapping back to divinity the auto-loading stops you from having to reload. This is more for solo and casual play than raids however.
And then I was like "Why can't you combine Whisper with Mountai.. oh *sigh* yeah"

14:05 last Sunday I didn’t know this video existed and I used the threat level with recluse and the whisper of the worm for a raid not even knowing it’s a high DPS load out
I was watching a video from Aztecross and according to him, Breakneck was broken (in a bad way). During the recent update where they changed rampage and such, Breakneck now gets a REDUCTION in damage as rampage builds.

Its currently bugged and for some reason it hasnt been fixed in the 3 weeks that shadowkeep has been out
You have to finish the old quests to unlock the Izanami forge on that character. It’s quite the grind but I just finished that quest and received the key.

loadouts and making builds is definitely back to being a lot more fun. As long as you're playing to your specs and builds there are a lot of options.

Considering how easy comp is this season, I would say go get the recluse. I was able to get it in 3 hours solo, and considering how useful that gun is, I would do it one hundred times over. There are also other sniper rifles instead of izanagi that are just a little bit less good but a hell of alot less grind. I use swarm of raven as launcher which doesn't take that long to get either, atleast compared to wendigo and other launchers
You can also try some gambit prime or reckoning for a last man standing with one two punch, you don’t need the season pass anymore, and the drop rate is much better than it was, I spent about an hour grinding and got three, one with one two punch
Comp are very easy now, im trash at pvp and even i managed to get to Fabled in 2 hours probably due to the recent comp changes and newcomer to the game, also if you're solo then you should choose Freelance.
Man, there's a ton of great blue weapons in this game, do some testing in the new hall area....plus, now guns are dropping better than ever. Good luck Sir.
@@cclark9919 Blue weapons are useless in end game activities such as nightfalls and raids, not to mention PvP. You need to farm for powerful legendaries such as breakneck(gambit Auto Rifle) and recluse. If you are not good at comp pvp, you can go for the gambit SMG called exit strategy which is pretty easy to get. Also be sure to buy exotics from Xur every week including the fated engram(which guarantees an exotic you don't have)

I think my clan's onto something good here.
BTW I think Divinity + Wendigo into Izanagis is the new mechanic how fireteams rek a boss. Tried it on Calus yesterday and by the time we stood on plate 2 in the damage phase he was annihilated.
Kinda weird how you didn't mention the whole 1-2-Punch stuff that's making the round right now, I have friends basically solo'ing primevals in gambit with that stuff at the moment.

Ehroars loadout (the very first combo) ((Izanagi, Recluse, Wendigo)) is amazing.
Too bad izanagi quest is broken, and they will probably nerf the recluse soon.
Hayden Armstrong the only nerf I imagine incoming is going to be similar of that to ace of spades. The alternate weapons won’t trigger the perk and they may dial the damage down a little more but by no means do I think they will nerf it down to the ground. It’s a pinnacle weapon for a reason

It's just so funny, I've gotten pinnacles that have taken me hours on end but sit in my vault ever since I got them, and then there is the recluse, arguably one of the easiest pinnacles in the game, and in most people's opinion is one of the best guns in the game.
Try an autoloading spike 150(outrageous fortune or swarm) so you dont have to look for orbs of light

thomas mintell they are for ad clear... and primary ammo not heavy. So it would be a waste of heavy ammo when you could use a good dps heavy.

there are several factors that contribute to that. Not hitting crits, lack of ammo, died earlier and often etc. You having more damage than others has nothing to do with the weapon in this case because we already know Izanagis out damages Whisper easily after its nerf.

I love the risk runner, but its more of a add-clearer than a DPS gun, so if you're going for deeps you have better exotics to use, but the Riskrunner is one of the best add clearers in my opinion.
@@spideysquestionablyusedcha5069 for sure. It is probably the most fun add clearing weapon in the game IMO. I was mentioning it because he was talking about loadouts. I know it's not good for boss damage but you have two other slots for that. You can lay into a major with it though and while you're damaging him it will simultaneously kill all the adds around him while also reloading itself lol. Pretty sweet.

I would use revoker recluse and the anarchy for the new raid due to the amount of dps you can get for combineing two anarchy shots and a backup mag revoker with reload mods for a sniper can max your dps and then have recluse for add clearing its really good
For my clans first GoS clear I didn't have the izanagis so I paired tranquility with wendigo. Both with auto loading holster which allowed swapping back and forth easily. With recluse for add clear. Now I have izanagis and Divinity though so my loadouts are much more flexible

Too bad the izanagi quest is bugged and people who just came back to D2 can’t even get it which keeps us from doing end game activities with people that say must have izanagi.
Those people are tools Izzie is very good but you don't need to use the "meta" many things can replace it hell this is the reason bugie nerfed a bunch of stuff so it's more accessable to people who cant get all the best weapons. I recommend getting some people together and watching some videos to get the jist of what you need to do. it's way more fun when you have a bunch of people who have no idea what they are doing anyways and at the end of the day that's the reason video games exist to have fun

angel cruz if ada gave u the black armory key mold so u can get the past key it isn’t bugged for u. She won’t give it to most of us and it is mostly the people who picked up the quest after shadowkeep. Bungie said on their forum it will be fixed in an upcoming patch but didn’t say when.

Honed Edge, Relentless Strikes, Whirlwind Blade and Impact Masterwork.
I freaking shred EVERYTHING in my way. I can feel that they upped survivability with swords and it is so fun getting up close with bosses. Even the Overlord Hydra can't stand up to my blade. Blackout gives me pause but if I get in, I wreck shit.
got my sole survivor with triple tap and firing line. Its nice to use with Izanagi's for Sanctified mind damage phase. for AD clearing, 21% delirium with 2 mods of MG reserves will suffice.

Hazard of the cast with rampage and triple tap for the genetic is a good choice
Another alternative option if there is no IB or you're not able to get the Wendigo GL go to forge and grind for ACANTHA-D XK8434 (Arc) which is you can get Aggressive Frame, Spike Grenades, Field Prep and Rampage.
I believe that the sniper rifle from the Leviathan raid is also a viable option for DPS. Ive done tons of raids in the past with it and it can be paired with recluse and leave your heavy thought open for an exotic grenade launcher
great loud-outs, thanks! A couple of comments:
- I'd suggest to stop using breakneck. AFAIK AR/SMG with dmg dealing perk will do more DPS than breakneck and will not eat your ammo that badly
- Probably using sword is not a great idea, when majority of bosses stomp all the time
- There are scenarios where double sniper could be decent (e.g. scourge of the past), so I then use izanagi + sole survivor + machine gun or tranquility + whatever + whisper
