    That clear-up off the break was incredible. What stands out to me is how on the POV, every shot you play is the same. That is definitely not true when I see my own cue!! When I play long shots that I think are difficult, I play with good technique, full approach routine and follow through, quite often pot them and get position. When I have an absolute sitter, I play like Tom Cruise, snatch at it, get no action on the cue ball, run out of position and often even miss the pot! Then I have to avoid eye contact with my team mates!! I know what to do. Sadly, I just don't have the mentality to do it.

    I would love to see a video of you trying all your spin shots on a pro tour cloth/table, and your thoughts on how it changes how you'd have to play. Because the effect of spin takes place over a longer time period, you can hit backspin with less power, swerves are slower to take effect etc.
    Maybe even put the finest cloth on the table for like a week, then go back to your normal cloth (after we fund it of course!)

      These types of players are in every club but the difference from this level to top level is still high plus these pockets are very generous and not saying this to have a go because he is a great player but being a club player myself with a high break of 89 and constantly hitting 50s and 60s when I go to the star tables I realise very quickly how much more difficult it is to pot

    • @Breakfromlife
      @Breakfromlife  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +33

      It is about the standard you would find in the best Snooker clubs in the UK anyway. I’m a fair way away from being a pro and it is mostly to do with creating Chance in the first place. There are ways of avoiding shots you don’t like in a break but it’s difficult to get in position sometimes. Some of my long potting isn’t bad and having played pros I know my safety can compete but it’s mostly down to not having all the shots

    • @jamesmillar8047
      @jamesmillar8047 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @Breakfromlife yea I am from Northern Ireland and the few clubs I go to have mark allen jorden brown robbie mcguigan and few other great players who are not pro's but make 100s for fun and when u watch or play them u cant really belive they are not pros but when they enter tournaments they rarely win which shows there are plenty of great players still. Been chasing a 100 break for 10 years myself but just can't get there, I can hit nice mid breaks regularly but when I get anywhere near I lose my cue action unfortunately
