The first century was masterful! ❤ Please more 😊
Will do soon it’s just really difficult to get people to start watching these
My stance is not good and not clear aim of tip of cue i use aim with cue what method I used for batter aiming give my replie
This was really useful to hear your thought process as you develop a break. Please do more of these, perhaps even POV's the some of the shot recreations? Great video as always.
I would if I wasn’t using the same camera and I have enough trouble with just 1
This is the reason Murphy wants to play and commentating at the same time! 😁
This is so cool, great to hear what goes through a proper players head. I'm normally thinking, 'I don't really want this to go in, my chips are getting cold'.
Funny seeing you here. I see the occasional reference to snooker in your travel vlogs so I suppose not that much of a surprise!
Just before you said "this has been complicated" ..I honestly thought 'you've done bloody well there' ... very well taken.
Love you POV snooker videos, they are very helpful. Keep it up :)
Great video and to be able to hear you thinking the shots through, fantastic!
Made to look ridiculously easy once again. Good man 👍🏻🍀
Fabulous 1st break ! ❤
You make this look so annoyingly easy! Literally talking through every shot like that I'd struggle to string 2 balls together 👏
I love your running commentary, it's like being inside your head! 😀 Thanks for sharing.
Damn! That’s some kickass play and positioning. The screw back at 75. Spot on!
That clear-up off the break was incredible. What stands out to me is how on the POV, every shot you play is the same. That is definitely not true when I see my own cue!! When I play long shots that I think are difficult, I play with good technique, full approach routine and follow through, quite often pot them and get position. When I have an absolute sitter, I play like Tom Cruise, snatch at it, get no action on the cue ball, run out of position and often even miss the pot! Then I have to avoid eye contact with my team mates!! I know what to do. Sadly, I just don't have the mentality to do it.
That new insulation 🤌🏻
🤌🤌
It’s half done got the other side to do in the next few days. This gave me time to look at it
Big fan from Guangzhou china I’m a 13 year old boy and after watching your videos you helped me achieve high break and high break
Great runouts! Cheers from Sydney Australia =)
Honestly amazing just watching this kind of content, the talking over decisions etc, i love snooker, i just can't play it 😂 but i love watching, thank you for this
The worst part is you make it look so easy . Comon man.
Amazing video- thanks for sharing.😊
It is and it isn’t. If I just drop out of position a little bit I’d be struggling to pot about half of them
2:02 that pink is such a bro keeping the break alive for you
Either I've missed it or this channel has not had any dealings with any snooker championship, snooker terrestrial channel, snooker YT channel, snooker legend, or snooker professional?
Not saying he needs it but he's flipping good and the sport can definitly benefit with more exposure of this channel.
You right mostly I haven’t other than some small promotional deals. I do think any other sport and I’d be everywhere sometimes although there’s a good chance I’ve missed people trying to contact me in all the spam I get
@Breakfromlife I'm no marketing genius but I feel they could use you for free almost and you'd benefit from the free advertising of your channel.
Feels someone somewhere is missing a trick not having the 2nd largest snooker channel be more involved with the sport but maybe that's me.
Great channel, the century clearance headcam video was an awesome watch
Thanks for the great content, following you from Morocco 🇲🇦👍
I'm a rookie at cue sports but having watched your vids it helped me with playing even better, not necessarily at snooker, but making me think about how to position the cue ball, how side works and potting angles developed my game in pool and allowed me to try my hand at snooker which had always been daunting to me.
Cheers, Fred from Sarawak, Malaysia
Wow the confidence for the last black on the first break. So chill! Also imagine u doing this in a match when your opponent asked you to break
Very nice. Great job!
Wow, that's amazing break. It's looked nature.❤
wow. well played.
Loved this 😊
you inspire me .... Husam from Bahrain
Cheers from
Brooklyn, NY!
Great video. Brad from St Adolphe MB Canada
Awesome video!!!
Oh g😮sh...that "reverse arching/ under the thumb bridge" from the cushion looks unorthodox, but the potting is simply beautiful 😍 Gonna try it next time. Who knows, may help correct my potting from the cushion too 😂 Great potting and clearance as always! 👍🏻
I love your viedos
First break was sumptuous!
Some tough pots in there, but you made it look very easy. Really enjoy the content and have been recommending them to the guys in our league team. Keep it up - from Worcester, UK
Love Worcester at the uni
Only started in the summer so as you could guess lots to learn 😂
Great shots there… wish I could play half as well as you!
Most of my improvement in the last few years has been just learning to keep a break going without playing a proper shot
I would love to see a video of you trying all your spin shots on a pro tour cloth/table, and your thoughts on how it changes how you'd have to play. Because the effect of spin takes place over a longer time period, you can hit backspin with less power, swerves are slower to take effect etc.
Maybe even put the finest cloth on the table for like a week, then go back to your normal cloth (after we fund it of course!)
Interested to know how well you play pool. Up for a match?
hey, any tips on how to prevent/dampen back and neck pain? i’m only 16, and been practicing a fair amount recently, but after about 2 hours of playing by myself it becomes incredibly painful and aggravating.
138?? Wow I wish I could break build like this 🔥
I don't think you have Alcoy on your map! Watching you from here, at our small snooker&pool room. That video was great! Would you consider showing routines to go from beginner to kind of decent player? Thanks for what you do!
great video, great performance, just wish you could fix the windy mic. Thank you!
Great stuff. Do you play on the pro circuit?
Not even close unfortunately
re. your recloth - I've been impressed with Strachan Superfine bed cloth - apparently closest to No10 in terms of speed, reactiveness etc, had it for the last 2 recovers over past 4 years and would go for it again.
I will look at that when I’ve got the rest of the room fixed up
Fantastic breaks. Can we see you recreate Hendry’s tough table challenge?!
Was going to do it at the end in this but couldn’t quite make 100. But have already done it about 8 months ago I got 87 I think
If there is one guest Hendry should have on his channel it should be you
Please start applying for the process of international. Please. You are a great player
Quinten Hann/Hossein Vafaei would be proud
How do get over 10 break im bad
That was amazing to break and get a break clearance like that. Never seen that on tv. Has anyone ever done that?
No, and they never will because its suicide
Barry Hawkins fluked a red into middle and had perfect position on the blue
I’m not sure what happened with that Barry Hawkins chance but I know Mark Allen did it against Mark Williams in a meaningless Championship League frame but broke down around 70 something
Not even Quinten Hann could break off like that 😂
Great video wish I could hit a century I struggle to get past 51. I’m a new subscriber what’s that about putting pins in the map about please
It’s just a random comment I select each week that has said where they are from
@@Breakfromlife sound I’ll try my luck I’m from Nottingham 🤞🏻keep the great content coming so I can keep upping my game please 🙏🏼
If you are using a GoPro you can get an antifog filter for it. Great video as always
It’s on the inside of the lens though and it’s a DJI Osmo Action
@@Breakfromlife ah ok, well that sucks ☹
@@IDICBeer send him a GoPro and filter you tight b'stard
Would love to have my own table
Here in county clare, ireland. You should go to q school in the summer
What part of Clare you in?
@@FootballMoments-kp8jk I don’t know there to be honest I’m in Dublin 🍀👍🏻
I will have to try at some point for the channel if nothing else but not quite there yet
@@Breakfromlife👍
How much tighter are championship tables?
A little bit but mine hug the cushions for some reason so that make it easier. Some tables I play on with bigger pockets than mine can even be harder down the rails and I don’t know why really
I wonder if the way you broke off would be allowed in professional Snooker?; I personally break off in a conventional manner by striking the Cue-Ball on the 4 O Clock spot and aim for the last red in the pack.
Yes you can, it's allowed ... but too risky in leaving your opponent on.
Snookers all about good aiming. Been playing 4 years now, practice every day, sorted out my cue action, and still miss consistently. If you are good at aiming, you will be good, if not, forget it. I don't see how you can learn it.
Does this guy play professionally? Because he's definitely good enough.
Sadly you need to be quiet a bit better than I am. The people you see just about making it on TV sometimes before losing 5-0 usually beat me comfortably
@Breakfromlife Have you thought about entering Q School? You should be good enough to gain a tour card and a place in the top 128.
❤❤❤❤
❤
you should play professional try crayford social club table its a arrow flight
Thanks but haven’t even been able to win a game in a league near me for 3 weeks
Yahya From Morocco Ifrane
Two or three feet my aim is good but more distance is not good give repile
Is there best shots of the world GP ?
I’m sure he’ll get around to it. Do you think Dundalk will have a good season this year? Hard to see Rovers not doing it again
@@JohnJaySnookerChannel Rovers too good for the rest I'm not sure how dundalk will do this year since Hobans gone now but let's see.
Next week didn’t know 100 percent if I’d find the shots in time
Any chance you'd start a fundraiser for some new cloth? I would donate lol. It would make for one hell of a shot recreation video with fresh felt like the TV tables
Will get it sorted after I fix the room up. Nearly there though
2:54 that angle the table looks 22 feet long
Where's week 4 challenge?
Do a 147 next time!!!
You do it
What do you think is the easiest way to set the balls up to try and get a century? I'm talking, leaving reds over the pockets as bail out shots and placing the reds where everything goes. I want to make my first century this year 😂😂
you should be a coach
Your fking mustard mate 👍👍
At 1:10 are you thinking " 2 reds, 2 blacks ......... "
Hi, I'm from Saratov, Russia. Can you please pin it with the blue color? The same color as the beautiful Volga river!
If you had to rank yourself in the world where do you think you’d be? Top 1000? Top 5000? I would just find it amazing if someone of your ability could possibly be outside the top few thousand players in the world.
Difficult to say but you might be surprised to find just how many amateur players can clear the table like that. Definitely not all but more than the top 10% of amateur players
My aim is not good and stance give information about that
You should beat Ronnie
Happy 2024 my friemd, long time no see, i stopped watching you because it always made me realise how bad i was watching you
Now try replicate that break off 😀
Edit: in the least attempts of course, difficulty is a 10 I guess 😂
It was about 10 goes since I last potted a ball anyway
Is this guy an ex disgraced player? How come he’s not a pro? Need the back story..
I think he has stated that his long potting is not consistent enough for the pro ranks. Also not sure how his safety is. Great potter though.
These types of players are in every club but the difference from this level to top level is still high plus these pockets are very generous and not saying this to have a go because he is a great player but being a club player myself with a high break of 89 and constantly hitting 50s and 60s when I go to the star tables I realise very quickly how much more difficult it is to pot
It is about the standard you would find in the best Snooker clubs in the UK anyway. I’m a fair way away from being a pro and it is mostly to do with creating Chance in the first place. There are ways of avoiding shots you don’t like in a break but it’s difficult to get in position sometimes. Some of my long potting isn’t bad and having played pros I know my safety can compete but it’s mostly down to not having all the shots
@Breakfromlife yea I am from Northern Ireland and the few clubs I go to have mark allen jorden brown robbie mcguigan and few other great players who are not pro's but make 100s for fun and when u watch or play them u cant really belive they are not pros but when they enter tournaments they rarely win which shows there are plenty of great players still. Been chasing a 100 break for 10 years myself but just can't get there, I can hit nice mid breaks regularly but when I get anywhere near I lose my cue action unfortunately
It’s actually Stephen Lee behind the camera, few viewers know this! Great to see him still sporting the Rolls!!
Why are you so out of breath? are you ok?
I might have to use a microphone with this because the one on the camera picks up even the faintest breath. It’s only as much as the average person breaths when they talk. Maybe I should try the wind noise reduction setting
How come you never became professional?
Breaking off like it's Pool such an amateur
