Try not to eat until right before the last special in her attack rotation, you HAVE to be doing damage the entire time otherwise it will slow you down way too much and she will outheal your damage and you'll run out of supplies.
It's designed to be a difficult boss for low-mid level characters, or players who don't have much pvm experience. It's an accomplishment to defeat the boss.

78 magic attack bonus. LOL this wasn't my first attempt, I think I tried 3-4 times before I finally got enough good rng to outdps her. Keep trying! and remember, if you're running short on resources half way through the fight, just tele out, you won't make it until the end and you'll just end up wasting resources.
Just beat it using this guide. When you get down to the final third with four healing beams, heavy emphasis on not eating until after killing them quickly (darts/bp). You can get away with being all over the place in the first two thirds, but you have to play chicken at the end. If you can brew between beams, even better.
It is the "Herblore Recipes" plugin. check all the boxes in the settings except the last one to match my settings, then adjust as needed for your preferences! :)
I finally had a chance to get on runelite to check. It is called "Idle Notifier" My settings are: Checked, Checked, Unchecked, Checked, 2500ms, 35, 20, 100%, 0%, 15%, 50%. Hope this helps! You can change the notification sound on runelite's Runelite plugin > Notification Settings > Notification Sound > Custom
@@SimonRobeyns at a certain point in the fight she hits your max hp-1. So if your hp is 80 then she will hit 79, regardless of if you have less or more. Have less than 80, you'll die. Have more, she will hit 79.

I thought it would hit 99% of your current HP bar and will always get you down to 1 health point but now I get it. I can't seem to get the timing right. I think autocasting earth wave is also not very recommendable as it always turns off after drinking sara brews
Pay close attention to when I eat to full health in the video and that should solve the problem. Also, you didn't mention running out of food, but, if you use blood spells you'll need to eat less which means less brewing which means lower chance of your magic level being reduced. Make sure auto retaliate is off, because if it is on and your magic level is lower than the lvl req for casting your spell, it will turn off auto cast automatically. If you drink a restore when it is reduced with auto retaliate off, it will stay on permanently. Just pay attention to your magic level. Drink brews when you absolutely have to.
You will most likely get destroyed, unless you are either lucky or know something I don't. She has +10 magic defense, nice low. She has +480 ranged defense, this is more than 2x the ranged defense corp has. But yeah, short answer is definitely go mage, but if you go range then record it for sure lol.
@@rexmrtnz86 I hate to give this answer, but, ancients. Lol. It's a test of endurance and the blood spells help you endure a lot more pain. You can probably get by with any other high level spell you have since mage is BIS for this boss, but I haven't come across any guides or achievement videos of people killing the boss with something else. (maybe I didn't search deep enough(?)) I'd love to hear about you trying range on it and see how it goes, would be cool to know if it works! Would be good to know the results if you use non-ancients too. If you do opt for non-ancients magic, just be sure to bring loads of extra healing to offset the healing you would be doing with ancients. Blood fury might be helpful. I don't think Phoenix necklaces would be good for doing it non-ancients, you probably would run out of heals too quickly. But I haven't tested it so I couldn't say for sure. Either way lemme know what you go with, and if it worked or didn't.

You can do it! It took me over 5 attempts myself. But I eventually got it. If you get bad RNG during the fight it's best to just reset. Even with good gear, the fight is tough, unless you're @King Condor
