Purchased the 2022 2500 hd Denali diesel fully loaded and love it. Test drove the AT4 and loved it as well, but the Denali offered more. We currently pull our travel trailer; no issues, but will be upgrading to a 5th wheel. This truck is a true beast!!!!!
AT4 absolutely, those wheels, absolutely not. I LOVE the AT4, but I could not order it that way. You could have almost have any aftermarket wheels you want for that price. Great video, JB.
I don't like what they did with taking out 12 volt plug then only left 2 plugs in front the charger for phone does not work with any magnets and yes there's a 3pron plug but under center console. Just a dumb set up.
@gcslade that's not all I just bought a 2024 deasil Denali I wanted red so I could not buy a Altimate does not come in red. So I just had a Denali but you don't get everything they do. Plus took little hole from top of dash so no room for sunglasses
Nice job! You mentioned aftermarket, try to find a 3500 the is lifted like the 2500 AT4X. Id like to know if one exists. Just can beat the look of the 2500 AT4X AEV. But I plan on pulling a 40' RV soooooo...
The problem with the AT4 is that it's just a X31 package with a high interior trim (close to a Denali package with red tow hooks). If you want a real off-road truck you need a AT4X or ZR2. I know, I own a AT4 3500
Nice looking truck, but those wheels are uuuGLY ! In my opinion, the AT4 model is currently the best model option for GMC HD trucks. I only wished they offered the AT4X and AEV version in a 3500 HD.
My 24 3500 crew cab long bed at4 gasser in titanium rush is on its way to my dealer... FINALLY! Those wheels suck. Imo. The Denali and ultimate do as well. Just not a fan.
@@JB_WhoWork I believe it man. I ordered this one in June. I'm not upset by any means.... I understand how the world works and It'll be worth the wait. My dealer seemed to have a good line of communication with the yard manager. He was able to get it prioritized at 14 days after build. Seemed to stay on track with that once it was built. Have a 2015 Sierra with 275k that decided to toss some pricey repairs my way after I ordered the new one. I love that truck and have to keep going so didn't have much choice. Thanks for the content and stuff. Keep it going!
Nice truck. Still not a fan of those wheels lol. I think they are worse than if they were just black lol. That bedcover is similar to a BakFlip MX4. And those things are pretty heavy. Maybe not 100 pounds but heavy. So that explains some of the payload loss where the truck came with it factory.
The trailer brake controller takes up way too much space. Much prefer my 2024 Silverado 3500 layout. This truck has the same engine, transmission, brakes, 13 inch infotainment system, digital gauges, multi-folding tailgate, spray-in bed liner, heated seats, rear power sliding window and 360 camera system as my 2024 Silverado 3500 LT. The biggest difference are the grill and black wheels. Most change their stock wheels and tires anyway so paying premium for stock wheels isn’t logical. I paid $73k for my 2024 3500 and this one cost $93k. That is a $20k price difference or equivalent to me buying my truck and the dealer handing me an extra $20k in cash. My truck with $20k in cash vs this ATX? I assure you if i put $20k in aftermarket parts on my truck it would blow away the ATX. Here in TX you have sales tax. That alone is a $1,300 price difference between $73k and $93k.
The AT4 and up trims have a premium interior so it’s slightly different but is it worth $20k more? Probably not, the only thing that sucks with aftermarket is you will never get that money back unless it’s a “upfit” but I’m sure it feels good to save $20k right out of the gate 💪🏾
@@JB_WhoWorkI would take a $73k 2024 Silverado LT redesigned interior with the 13 inch infotainment center and digital gages over a 2023 $100k Denali/High Country old interior. It’s night and day. If I was going to spend $100k on a truck it would probably be a Ford F350 with the black appearance package and Tremor. The Tremor wheels would replace the ugly black appearance wheels. But the $30k difference in price is why I chose Chevy.
Those wheels are definitely not worth it!! Or the tonneau cover. I did all the other upgrades along with the BFG’s, then ordered a tonneau cover online for $1150.

I still love the look of the 2020-2023 gmc hd’s and I wish they would have used those wheels for these refreshed trucks 😂
This was a great video great information needed!!
Thanks 😀
Just picked up a 2024 Chevy 3500 slate grey with blackout package to pull my 5th wheel. As you say “it’s fire!”
How is it? I have mine on order should be another month or so I can't wait
mines is thunderstorm gray 3500 at4. love it, great truck.
opted out of those ugly wheels though, and I'm glad I did.

agreed 100%

I know a lot of guys like when they add 12 volts to the top of the dash as well
I concur, I can't believe GM removed the 12 volt accessory plugs.

Thanks, I hope they do a accessory pkg with the at4 and Denali’s for at least the bumpers/wheels 👍🏾

Can you do a breakdown on how much money you need to make a month to comfortably live and pay for this truck?
You may as well just buy a Denali Ultimate at that point! Most AT4's are under 90k! This one might've been customized.
The wheels/bed cover/painted arches made this truck pricey!
@@JB_WhoWork Yeah that bed cover is crazy!

That’s awesome, I’ve seen guys wait almost 3 months after their truck was built due to them getting blocked in from newer units getting taken first

Somehow, Ram hasn't changed anything on the exterior, yet they once again have the best looking truck. The other guys did too much.
Ram is the same truck from mid 2009 hilarious that people would spend 70 plus k on a truck from 2009.
I agree but if you want a real off-road truck, nothing beats the RAM Power Wegan
Those dusty ass tires were killing me the whole video
😂😂😂 if I knew I wasn’t getting the new style on my gasser, I would have deleted them off my build 👍🏾
