Literally my dream truck right there. Denali ultimate duallies and man is that one Gorgeous AF. Can't wait to see one.
There’s no reason these truck should be this much! They are beautiful, but way out of my price range.
I have a nephew who is head of r&d at Ford Dearborn when he was 1st hired as a engine designer starting almost 20 yr ago his starting pay was $100 per hr that's why anything cost a arm and 2 legs now
I got one for $77k, they price them lower at dealerships and they know they're over priced
@@juandavilaepoxymagic7975 Looking now I don't see any 3500 dually that low
It's funny how these big car companies expect everyone to have an extra 100 grand laying around in the Biden economy............ You're lucky to have an extra $10 bill lying around in the Biden economy......
JB, I continue to love the reviews! I am currently on a trip out west and am in Wyoming towing only 9k lbs but the same load I towed last year that warped the brakes on my GMC 3500 Denali, which was over a 5 mile descent of 7 to 8% grade, due to a lackluster exhaust brake. I cannot be accused of being biased as I have owned several Ford F350 Powerstrokes of which two were dually’s, and a couple of GM 3500 Duramax’s of which one was a dually. I’ve appreciated them all. Last Fall I purchased my first RAM, a 3500 Mega Cab Limited with Cummins HO and the Aisin. Each of the big three make real nice comfortable luxurious trucks loaded with amenities of which most have zero impact on what they are built to do, which is tow heavy loads. Today I did a 10 mile descent with 10-11% grade over the majority of the distance and I was absolutely blown away with the exhaust brake of the RAM which maintained 25 mph on a steep winding decent, and I never touched my brakes. In terms of the exhaust breaking, neither Ford or GM are not even in the same league in my experience. All these trucks will tow tremendous loads up hill but descending is a different ball game. The control that RAM’s exhaust breaking provides is simply unmatched. After todays experience I will not consider buying another Ford or GM until they match the RAM’s performance in this category. I encourage those that are emotionally brand loyal to be open minded and try other brands, regardless of which one, in determining what their particular needs are. Several years ago RAM was not on my radar because of paradigms of V8 vs straight six horse power, not understanding the torque of the Cummins and advantages of the straight six, and not realizing the beefiness of the Aisin. Boy was I wong. The RAM 3500 Heavy Duty combination is designed and built to tow hard and heavy uphill with a downhill experience superior to the competition.
@danroland9114 I completely agree. The Cummins exhaust brake paired with the Aisin transmission is unmatched. Incredible control for large heavy loads. Love my 21 MegaCab Longhorn LTD w HO Cummins.
This is why TH-cam rocks for everyone coming together to make our life more inform in this time and age. Thank you for sharing your input, it is a big help in my decision making soon. I have been a full-time RV'r on the road coming on six years and I have already accumulated 124,000 original miles on my (new back then) 2017 ford f350 diesel srw. I have been shopping for my next truck to pull my next rv a 20k lbs. 5th wheel toy hauler to remain on the road and I have decided on a 2021 to 2023 Ram 3500 dually HO diesel, Aisin and with the 4:10 gear. The Ram truck combo I prefer for my towing are hard to come by and majority are 1000 plus miles away from home. Today, I saw a 2024 GMC denali ultimate dually that has 95% of everything I want and planning on pairing it with my next rig but your comment give me a great deal of information to think about and a good reason on why I should stay with the RAM. How is your truck so far, I am hearing Aisin transmission recalls and problems on many 2022's and few 2023's 3500 with the HO diesel and Aisin combo?
You are correct. My 21 F350 dually 6.7 can't compete with the RAM when it comes to the exhaust brake. It needs major improvement.
After a few months of waiting, I’m dying over here. Mine was supposed to be delivered 6/2, and it’s been delayed about a 4 hour drive away…. 😫absolutely love the way these new 24s look and feel.
Very Nice! If they put a short bed on it, I'll in line to trade up my 2013 Chevy 2500 HD LTZ. Love the new look of the GMC Sierra 3500 Denali Ultimate Dually.
Nice presentation!
Nice truck. Me personally I don’t see $23,000 more truck than your LTZ but it is nice.
I think a short bed dually for a GM might actually work since the “short” bed is 6’10”. However I actually have considered if I order another truck to just get a long bed (SRW too) because I think with the huge cabs GM has now the crew cab long bed actually looks pretty good.
I am this truck in a 2023. I want to upgrade but I am 9:36 waiting to see if GM is going to produce the 8.3 liter Duramax. People talk about how much I spent. I do not care, I want what I want. No stripped down truck for me.
I own an AT4, and I'm not a fan of GMs senior citizen interior colors. The brown tones can go anytime now.
That new vador chrome peels in no time!!
That is a beautiful truck. It would be nice to be able to afford one.
Same
They don't sell these to poor people they are for the elite the bosses.
Same twice
Hell yeah Ultimate 4x4 dually GMC, JUST sell me one.
Nice dually, almost make me want one instead of my 3500 SRW, well maybe my next truck.
+ $100,000 is a ridiculous amount of money for a pickup truck. But to each their own if you're that well off. Good luck with it.
Have you driven one with the 2 speed transfer case option, how is it beneficial and is that something someone who tows heavy would appreciate in their truck?
Several comments about wanting a short bed. Why would you need a 1-ton with a short bed? That defeats the purpose of a dually, which is to safely carry extra weight, right?
Im driving a 22 silverado 2500 Z71 crew long , i love the truck but really considering jumping up to the 3500 ultimates
Doesn't come with Aux switch bank? Upfitter I think they call it?
Hey do you think RAM will come out with a Yellowstone trim
That would be a flop, all becuase. Of a TV show.
What is the overall width of this truck?? Want to see if it fits in my garage ? Thanks
Can you go from 18 inch rims to 20 inch rims?
Have you had any issues with trailer wiring? Especially to backup cameras? Did you use GM hard wired trailer camera?
What size gas tank does it have?
The Ford super duty Platinum seats are way more comfortable
Nice truck!!
I'm stuck on ford 350s but GM designs are impressive
Some ppl like mediocrity 😀
I’m thinking and I’m open for opinions switching the 18s for 35s moto metal rims blacked out of course. Tint the front two windows and the top of the windshield. Wrap or remove any chrome trim. Order it with black interior. Black on black fully murdered out. Spray in wheel liner ceramic paint protection on the body.
Does Denali ultimate truck comes with air suspension?
leveling
If GM makes this truck with a 6.6 gas engine I would buy it
No chrome it really sad I'm GMC love I had 4 GMC Sierra crew cab. But don't see point pay $101,000 sorry. I know say GMC Denali from 1500,2500,3500 price around $60,000/$80,000 my thought. What engines you 3.0 diesel, 6.6 diesel, 5.3 engine gas, 6.2 engine and 6.6 engine gas prices $6,000 . Great video keep up good.
Hey that would be cool short bed dually. Hey does Mikey still have pw?
Sold it Chris,
Inside started to leak water badly from roof panel.
@@mikeyp4404 what did you replace it with
@@christopherbrown1391 24 Denali Ultimate 2500
@@mikeyp4404 cool okay good to hear from you
Frank, i want that truck.
Does GMC offer a 5500 like Dodge or like the F550 from Ford?
They have a 4500 and 5500, but they are mini semis built by inter”trash”inal. I’d love a 4500 if it was still like a pick up. Similar to how Ford does the f450, f550, and f600.
Yes but it's a like a topkick truck doesn't have the same time as the 3500 crew cab
Yes but does have Duramax engine and Allison transmission. Hug flips forward like a how big rig
GM should make a 4500hd. But as far as the the 5500hd and 6500hd. With the fiberglass nose in the front it just makes it easier to work on everything easier except for the radiator and intercooler, but just a cup two guys can lift the whole fiberglass nose right off and you don't have to take the to do engine
I watched a comparison, it beat the Ram but the Ford beats the GM. 30 more hp and 300 more torque makes a difference.
I like your content JB but maybe you could do a few vids on trucks that are, you know, not $80k plus? For us normies?
You think 100 grand is going to help sell more of this trim level
While looking at the gmc website build site for this truck they show it as 500 h.p.? It should be for that price, some say the L5P engine can be tweeked to 700 hp without reliability problems, they also have an option for off road tires on the website? I wonder what those look like, some of the after market companies put some off roadish tires which look incredible, but may be cuz they are larger wheels, I would probably put 19.5's on this truck, I will probably get one next year. Not familiar with the color you have in the video? I would get the onyx black, with the alpine as in your video, the larger screen is nice but could be bigger and seperate from dashboard like the Tesla.
This truck also needs a storage vault under the back seat.
NISSAN did it best, also a flat floor, imo big fall by Chevy Gm for missing these simple things.
So where are the denali ultimate rims?!?!?!?!?
100k. Ridiculous. Incentives are sure to come in 2024!
100k pickup. If I was still in hauling I would just buy a Semi tractor and drive to to get my frappuccino instead..
I would get a GMC over the Chevy only because sometimes parts disappear from chevys much more often. Thats why my brother stopped buying chevys, parts were being stolen from his Camero. One morning he discovered his grill was missing another day his T-tops were gone, etc.
So, in this case his next sports car will be a GMC Camaro, am I correct?
Don't get me wrong they look good but lacking alot of basic amenities that everyone is offering for a less price point
Front end is amazing, all that chrome trim though is hideous
Well, there is nothing wrong with that truck! And the price between SRW and DRW is nothing when spending 95 to 100k.
My question is this, and this comes from another video I ran across by another content provider.
Why in the hell would you spend 98k on this truck as an SRW and cut into it to put 24"×14 rims and tires? It made me cry!
The only way they will sell more trucks is to improve quality and lower the price way down!!
I don’t think you need a good reason to own this truck. I would buy it just for the look and smooth drive. Plus I like the intimidating factor coming down the road. Mostly use it for long distance travel and flea markets. Lol
❤❤❤
They are charging you to cover there cost of warranty issues!
Esta 👍
Am I missing something somewhere? How the hell are people affording to pay $100,000 for a damn truck?!
But will it still have the same emissions issues as the 2016-23 models? The def system is a joke!
@ 10 years for $100k
Comes to $10k a year
$192 a week
$28 a day
Nic nic nic trak
Ridiculous they don’t offer 20” wheels on the duallys. Maybe some of us want the extra ground clearance for off roading. Smh
They won't sell as good as the supperduty or dodge
Dually’s need to be standard as 22.5
Alcoas 👍🏽
60 gal +
101k and in 1 week worth 80k
Blue, purple, tons of dirt.
Why do they put those hideous orange reflectors on the side of those trucks and why do they put those hideous side marker lights on the side of the bed? Literally looks like they went to the aisle in walmart where the mailboxes are, bought reflective tape, and slapped it on the side of that truck. Then went to the auto aisle and grabbed some cheap trailer lights of the shelf and slapped them on. Why?

A platinum F450 costs $10k less....

The truck needs a vault.
long ways to go in interior finished to justify that price
The leather reminds me of the ram longhorn interior. I don’t like it
When videoing, slowly pan and and pause over objects you're giving detail about. The quick back and forth, herky-jerky movements are distracting and make for loss of interest. That along with speaking fast.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👌👌👌👌👌
Yes big old truck with itty bitty wheels...as for me way to much truck way to much money involved....ouch
👍👍👍👍👍🚐🎀
Lol… I’d never at a gm is quick on its feet…. The dually I drove, 2023 SLT, accelerated like a turd.
Who buys a $100k truck that is not a business owner for a tax write off?
These $100k+ trucks are marketed for people who don't know the difference between a wrench and a hammer. These people will use it to go to pickup their Frappuccinos on the weekends.
@@nelauren and what's wrong with that. Honestly only people can afford to get these off the lot are LLC/ Corp business.
@@Bear_83 read my comment again. I didn’t say there was a thorn wrong with that. I was just stating the target demographic for these trucks.
or pickup their mistresses @@nelauren
People like me, who own a trailer (Airstream) and want the best tow vehicle to do the job and be comfortable doing it. Also note, I have a wife, who is riding with me, driving 500 miles per leg, towing, with traffic, trucks, idiots, and the rest.... a truck like this fits the bill regardless of the cost (no write off) to ensure we arrive safely and dare I say "refreshed". So not just a coffee run truck, but has a real purpose even if it doesn't fit in nicely with a construction foreman stereotype(s) in which these types of rigs where originally intended for many moons ago. Just my humble opinion.
Only one shit tire available in this new size. FYI!!
Lol, 101k 😂
So really not a work truck..
This truck will work towing 38 ft horse trailer with lq
