That was an insane fight 159 turns stalling her at some point Qin, Jeanne and Merlin were looping with their art cards forever until she died. After around turn 50 she couldn’t do damage due to the looping. STALL CHAD
Surprisingly lasted 40 out of 85 turns with HCA in the frontline, but only cause Jeanne and QSH were out too, afterwards it became a double QSH battle to crit her health down while spamming Luminosité Eternelle
Took me 22 turns, I made my frontline buffers and the DPS, plugsuited the DPS out for Mashu in the far back, and then waited until King Potato Chips gave the headpats. Then I used Mashu's invul on herself, had Merlin and David join the fight, and stalled until turn 22, alternating Illusion Arts and Harp of Healing to NOPE the headpats. Then I plugsuited Mashu out for the DPS, applied more buffs, and nuked King Protein Shake. Tbh, the leadup was MUCH harder than the actual fight against King Potatoe. Like, once she swaps defense down out for NP down, you've pretty much won. And of you don't have your own Merlin or a 4-5 star DPS, then you can stall for some extra turns so she gets a bigger defense down before nuking her.
a little fun fact : when the KP battle came out on JP very few whales were able to 1 shot her 2m HP. For others, it seems like an impossible battle that just goes on and on. But Fate/Extra fans noticed the similarity of the situation to different events involving Hakuno(n). 1. Falling through the abyss for so long that they slowly forgot what light even looks like, close to them stopping to think all together. But refused to give up until their servants found them(or encountered Gilgamesh in the void) 2. Being trapped in BB's Sakura He'll where they were forced to crawl around a pocket dimension for month/years while hearing nothing but the voices of their friends telling them to just give up. 3. BB/Kazura Drop's Bug space in foxtail where KazuraDrop toyed with Hakuno for months treating him like a ragdoll breaking and fixing him over and over again. The way they escaped all those situations is by having the iron will to move on, never stop thinking no matter how hopeless it was. Nasu applied the concepts of those situations in the KP battle leading to players who did not quit midway to find out about KP's self debuff after 20 or so turns.
This video got me through the KP fight. Thank you! JAlterZerker buffed at the beginning, then switched out for Mash so my front line was Mash, Tamamo, Support Jeanne for 70 turns of the fight. I wasn’t sure how long I needed, so I kept going past what was necessary, but once I got to turn 30ish it was easier to stay alive because NP gain started skyrocketing. Switched in JAlterZerker at the cache clear around 70 and she did more than 4 million damage.
lu bu works, you should have him at least right? Prep his np and buff him and then switch him to the back row (last slot). Then let your 3 front row be wiped except for one against protea's first np, then have the back row (w/o lubu as you are saving him for turn 22 stall until turn 22). Merlin works, you should have a support of him, but in this fight you have to make sure he doesnt die since he has class diadvantage, the stall team of merlin and david if used right you can just cancel the protea np by using their evade + invisibility alternatively at the right time. Tanky mash is a good choice for her defense. Oh and make sure lu bu has a good CE that can up his dmg. then at turn 22 switch mash for lubu, do any last minute buffs, and then david + lubu np and you should be able to finish protea off. Make sure your initial front row have good focus/guts/and buster support since you need to make sure lubu goes away with at least 80 percent np and a full line of buffs. Leonidas and shakespears works well in this regard. You may have to retry a few times to get the timing down but as long as your skill levels are good enough this should work.
@@muyezhang343 yea. At lvl 40 lol. I didnt even know what to level up at first. I always leveled up the generally good servants or welfares and maybe sometimes some servants that i personally liked. Well i Will find a sollution i guess. Maybe jalter zerker might do the trick.

Mash/David are enough to get through the def down phase and anything that hits harder than Lu Bu is good enough to use as an attacker (Even with something like Heaven's Feel)
Lanling also does wonders here if you pair him with Jeanne and Mash. His 3rd Skill buffs everyone’s Arts Cards to help get Jeanne and Mash’s NPs up faster, his own NP has a charge drain to buy you another turn and a Damage Cut to supplement the team’s DEF buffs. He also has a 2 hit Invuln to keep you alive during standard attacks and NPs. Not to mention as a Knight Class, he inherently takes half damage from Alter Egos, adding to his tankiness. It was quite poetic that the Grail Reward was used to take him to 90.
It's also possible to solo her with Enkidu. Take him, chaldea lifesavers or divine banquet and basic MC. Command codes help a lot, Good Wife Wise Fox in particular is huge.

I actually cleared all of them except Kingprotea with plugsuit NP5 Lancelot + Double Skadi and Nero Bride xD Kingprotea I did with double Merlin + Jeanne + Mash + Waver + NP5 Herc. But didn't end up needing the second merlin and waver.
Alternatively, solo with Enkidu. Maxed dodge skill and a small bit of luck is necessary, but it's hilarious to watch the Clayboi looping his stun-happy Buster NP on every single turn after 24.

The hardest challenge quest that a did. The lack of the needed CEs made the one hit kill impossible...and not having Jeanne forced me into a really interesting Merlin double mash set up. Then wait to one hit kill with jack.
Oh god I was gunna give it a few gos but largely expected not to go to hard at it, but they put a grail behind her? Damn, guess I gotta make it work now lol
To those who are having trouble of stalling since they don't have any Jeanne or Merlin at their disposal a great F2P stalling setup would be a Mash, David (make sure his 2nd skill are leveled up for lower cool downs), and a support merlin (max level skill as much as possible for better buff and lower invisible skill cooldown.)
The np gain down resist is not really relevant late game for stall teams since she stacks more and more arts/buster/quick resist down debuffs on herself everytime she clears cache, that might also be a window of opportunity to spam Jeanne's np later on
I didn't either, but it just requires a little adjustment and time. After the 22 turns, she will regain her health stacks again, but lose them again every 5 turns after and receive another permanent defense down. If you just hold out long enough, you could literally kill her with unbuffed regular attacks.
@@anotheremptychannel9202 Turns out holding out is the real issue in this fight. Because I don't have my own Jeanne, I had to rely on a Mash/Waver/Merlin comp and great RNG luck-- flip side is Jerker had no problem killing her asap.
So, just to be clear, you can command seal revive in the Kingprotea fight, right? Edit: NP 1 level 90 8/6/6 Enkidu plus a max lim Magic Girl of Sapphire (Max Chaldea Lifesavers may also be enough) the default Mystic Code works for this fight. After the first twenty-something turns with the two heals, two evades, and some command seals if things get tough, an NP-Q-A chain should keep Kingprotea stunned and Enkidu back at full NP every time . Making her suffer through 30 turns of this groundhog day scenario is rather shameless, but a grail is a grail no matter where you go......
Wow Fino, I took your advice so hard that I have 2 copies of Versus! Though I'll probably end up being forced to use Fondant au Chocolat for the starting charge. Maybe Scathach and double Skadi would work? Can you imagine +180% Divine damage? She won't have any attack buffs except Plugsuit though. Hmm.
Just did it, Jeanne was dead weight during the NP gain down phase and i had to replace her with David. Still a lot of reset scumming, but the hardest was really just finding a friend with a x/10/x Davif and Iron Willed Training.
I managed this with a friend support Merlin. I'm pretty sure RNG had a lot to do with that though, what with Waver always managing just enough gauge to hold back her NP long enough for Illusion to cool down.
Finished KP on turn 87. Killed my DPS with crits and only had Jeannie with MLB banquet CE, BB with MLB banquet and Support Merlin with Prisma Cosmos left. So Team Stall, invuln and stun FTW. "Dies from a stiff breeze" Yup pretty much.
I could use yai boi zerk but don't have Versus but have Fondant au Chocolat ....... But Since I have Enkidu would it deal more damage than using herc against KP ?
Does anyone have any team recommendations for this, because everything I tried isn’t working. I tried Skadi looping with Atalanta (Alter) and I tried doing it with summer Jalter by using Merlin, Sheba, and Waver. I tried doing it in one turn like so people do and when I tried killing her on the 22nd turn it wasn’t enough to kill. So is there actually anyway ANYONE can beat Kingprotea or can only the really try hard and whale players beat her?
QSH wouldn't be good to use as protea would need face cards to beat and lasting longer than 21 turns would be trouble. Better to get someone with an np who can do damage if qsh doesn't get cards the turn protea loses her health buff.
Honako did a budget friendly setup with Weeb Jalter as the main attacker, and using Mash+ Double David for survival. If you started after Summer 3, it is theoretically possible to do it with Lu Bu as your main attacker instead.
Uhhmmm. I kinda ran mash, Jeanne, and tamamo and didn't bother using a plug suit since I thought she'd do an MHX and just die. I am not sure if I can just drop 2m dmg on top of her with my roster.
I ran the exact same team and stalled her to death. The resist downs KP applies to herself increase your card effectiveness against her, which basically means that around 80 turns in, any old arts card will fill way more of your NP gauge than it should. I stalled for 251 turns, and even quick cards filled Jeanne's NP gauge.
@@catnapcat4467 yeah, I got this over yesterday, switched my support to SHD instead of tamamo and stalled untill I messed up and mash and Jeanne died, my Gil went in and finished her. Kinda felt bad for KP, wish I could summon her with the tickets since I already failed to get Melt.
Google Fate/GO Account Recovery. You're going to need to give them a lot of info, like your Username, the usernames of some of your account's friends, servants you had and, ideally, receipts from any Quartz purchases. If you don't have any info... you're probably SoL.
I hate the KP fight so much. Who the HELL thought this was a good idea?? I went into this hoping I could get BB, but nope. The BS called the KP fight screwed me over. Guess I'm not getting BB, since I don't have anything needed for this besides mash and my friend's np5 castoria :(

All those sound awful and make me hate the devs for creating such cheating bs. Everytime the devs give a boss a cheating buff they MUST give it a huge DEBUFF. That is what is called BALANCE.

Beat this with Mash, Merlin and Tamamo after 112 turns of trying mainly to survive. Thank god for Hero Creation, Fox's Wedding and Tamamo crits.

Google Fate/GO Account Recovery. You're going to need to give them a lot of info, like your Username, the usernames of some of your account's friends, servants you had and, ideally, receipts from any Quartz purchases. If you don't have any info... you're probably SoL.
