Can we just take the time to appreciate the designs of descendant Stands. I love how each has its own unique look but you can still see the obvious similarities. King Crimson and Spicy Girl, *Za Warudo* and Golden Experience, I cant wait to see more parent and child Stands
This part at the beginning really disturbed me - Diavolo was truly incredibly intelligent to figure out the secret of Requiem so fast. He was so driven and determined to win, despite being the villain you can't help but be impressed with his intuition.
As a long time manga reader, Part 5 was always my favorite. Diavolo was one of my favorite characters and Im so glad DP gave this show the credit it deserves. Great VA too
bruh the sheer courage and soul of trish to use her power at the right time when one of the most powerful stands is right near her is so inspiring, she truly is a cool character.
Ok, so since some people are still confused even after Diavolo explained it, lemme lay it down easy. Chariot Requiem creates a "light" out of people's souls that casts a shadow on Chariot. Attacks on Chariot pass through it and hit the shadow, harming the attacker and activating the ability. Only by attacking the light can one harm Chariot. There! Now shaddup!
Yeah it sort of defeats the purpose of how a requiem stand is supposed to be the apex of a stands power with no weaknesses but SCR has such a ridiculous weakness that it feels cheap. Like he was just used to advance the plot and make it more dramatic.
My theory is that GER can only cancel stand abilities, and is a regular stand otherwise. That means if you use a stand ability against Giorno he can overwrite it, but if you shoot him with a regular gun he's toast.
@@Rabpercent44 well that's because king crimson's ability also had an effect on those, so it got canceled too. If the enemy stand wasn't Mr. It-Just-Work I'm sure GER would have been pretty easy to understand

I do think it's a nice image of Bucciarati as Trish's "real" dad: granted Diavolo was her paternal match, but Bucciarati was more of a father than he ever was to her.

And here's proof that he alters fate, remember when Diavolo kidnapped trish during erased time? Well he actually didn't, Trish was fated to be kidnapped in epitaphs premonition, as long as its in epitaphs premonition, it is gaurunteed to happen, thats how he was able to steal trish in erased time without having to touch her, also in order to alter fate, he must erase time and use epitaph at the same time, otherwise it won't work. Also time erase and epitaph alone pretty much gives him the strongest time bending abilities outside universe reset.
In my head when everyone goes back to their bodies "If I were bucciarati I would cut (zipper) all my limbs because I'm diavolo right now, so even if he wants to escape he can't move"
its honestly frightening how much of a genius diavolo was easily the smartest antagonist in jojo till this season atleast, dont think anybody in this dimension would have been able to stop him if he got the arrow
I like how bucciarati goes into diavolo’s body which symbolizes him being a father while diavolo being in the same body as trish means a parasitic relationship between the two.
I find it kinda sad that the only time Diavolo actually showed concern for his daughter’s well-being is when another dude’s soul was controlling his body.
As much as I love Stone Ocean, Requiem was such an awesome concept that I'm still salty about Araki not doing Requiems like Tengan Toppa mechs in Gurren Lagann(Movie), just giving every character a Requiem power up and having a crazy ass battle at the end.
You see power scales will ultimately bring the series to a stale point. Like take in case of shonen like Naruto , where you cannot move a show further ,until you develop stronger villans than the previous ones... Jojo is driven by uniqueness and diversity rather than power scale. when just stands are used there can be many unique ones which can counter each other and overall be good under right hands regardless of stats , like Darby almost Wiped out entire crusader team but dio couldn't kill more than 2, if more requiems are developed then normal stands cannot even compare with them and ultimately from the show which once feautured unique abilities, it will degrade to a show which goes only by power rather than uniqueness.
