I hope this is a turning point away from sit and hold lanes to something exciting to watch.
Were you playing when the X and Mini Races were around? Cause going back to that bunker set would fix that problem. These giant bunkers are way too safe. Makes the game slow.
@@Iamaskier08I played those when they were new. Watching the Aussie Pro stream where theyre at 15bps, modern layouts make increased rof survivable. You cant sit and cross up forever running clock like 10.5bps.
Happy middle is add new/bunkers, keep denying a safe standing backline, encourage more "creativity".
Reward attackers and penalize sitting.
Its like the evolution of baseball where they tweak the rules to kill the dead time.
Lets see what happens when Vegas kicks off.
@@somebrains5431 I do agree. But we have to admit, the big bunkers are whats making the back line safe. So in order to achieve what you said, which I agree with, we need to get rid of the giant bricks and giant wings. The smaller ones are fine. But every bunker except the doritos seems to be a 90 degree angle at every corner. Its very stale.

Was thinking about a few old airball layouts that are the ESPN pallet field.
I played the several years of the JT massive pyramid. Teams still didn't get setting up forced wire attacks.
Chronic field layouts were particularly bare in the middle forcing commits to go or stalemate.
Empire and WDP fields I loved bc I got a 7pack either getting lost with no pressure on me or snake roll to a highway run.
The game has had lots of instances of forcing us to play a defined way. We just haven't seen anything until now that shakes up the past 8 years or so of some play ethic NXL has been fine with broadcasting.

In a stand-up can? Can confirm, that home is a deathtrap if you stay longer than 30 seconds, plus after breakout there isn't a single zone home can maintain from the can. Best option is breakout guns, delay for 5-10 seconds and bump and gun to the CC at the 40 and hold the d2-d3 zone.

Really like this... why do they insist on adding pins strategically placed to make otherwise interesting bunkers unplayable, though? I'd think that if the goal is for outsiders to "get" paintball, we wouldn't design fields with bunkers that block vision and only exist for bounce shots. Keep the fields clean...
This is an offense type layout, there is no way in a millions years that Dynasty can win this one. This is the Anti- Dynasty layout.
I rewatched the 2022 Lone Star this layout is based off.
It wasn't that dynamic.
They're going to have to really punish teams this year and get them on whatever content friendly formula they're cooking up.
