Does your house have any big areas of metal, a metal roof/metallic shingles, maybe foil-backed insulation or vapor wrap in the walls/ceiling/roof? Any metal can cause significant cell and wifi signal degredation. If that's the case you may need to get an aftermarket cell signal booster. It comes with an antenna that goes on the exterior of your house, not something to stick on the wall or window. The antenna is small but very effective for wireless signal reception/transmission to local towers, and the small size makes HOAs (if you have that issue) quite ameaneable to letting you install it. I installed one on a high point of my roof and it solved the problem of poor indoor reception and wireless wifi. Various models out there, make sure you get one that's 'universal' or specific to your cell phone provider's type of signal. $200-$300, worth it (to me).
By the way, that yellow color on the Ethernet cable, says its a special modem to computer cable, not a standard ethernet cable. It has crossed tx rx connections.
Also if u get a 5g phone and have good 5g service in the area but bad lte you will need to unplug this if you want 5g. As it will default ur device to 4g lte
@@MrNobleTV yes i have an iphone 14 you can tell it to use 5g But it if knows the cell spot is there it will still Revert to 4G LTE mine did until i unplugged it
Don't throw those boxes away. T-Mobile is going to want that device back if you decide to switch carriers and if you don't have that box they will want to charge you for the device
@@MrNobleTV But can't you connect your smartphone directly to your home wifi? You should do a speed test with phone connected to your home wifi. I live out in the sticks so I have to use a signal booster, and my home internet is my phone's hotspot. Also with TMobile.
I actually received this same booster device to boost signal of my phone at home so I could use T-mobile for all my internet needs and cancel cable service but quite disappointed as I found out that I must have a wifi internet service in order to use this device that's defeating the purpose...is there any booster device that don't require wifi internet?
Is this T-mobile 5G home internet? I got mine about 5 months ago and it looks very different...mine is a tall square box eith rounded corners. Edit- nvm, I see you have that as well, guess this is just a signal booster?
You have to call T-Mobile and order one if they have them available.. it’s a $25 deposit .. you keep it as long as you want.. and if you ever return it , you get your $25 deposit back.. but the speed it depends on where you live to get those speeds hope this helps.. 😎👍
Why do people making videos on TH-cam feel that anyone would be interested in watching an unboxing of a product? To me that is a complete waste of time.
Im tech from t-mobile and were the only dept that can provide this to the customer . Great decision btw 🔥❤️
Thanks for watching 😎👍.. appreciate the feedback
Yes 👍 if they still have them 😎
@T.J Stokes Same I asked two different people, and they even tried to tell me the router isn't compatible with a signal booster
I bought mine off ebay
Thanks for Watching.. I haven’t used EBay in years.. I been using Amazon 😎👍

I will Have to check that out.. thanks for sharing.. appreciate the advice.. and thank you for Watching! 😎👍
No booster company supports T-mobile 4G bands and none of them support any carrier's 5G bands due to FCC regulations. Just something to think about.
Thanks for the info.. 😎👍
What’s the point if you have to have high-speed Internet service to use this?
It boost you signal 😎👍
we had one of these until recently T-mobile improved Service in our area
That’s Great 😎👍

How many bars did the internet have on it
It Gives you 4 full bars when it’s boosted..😎👍
Since you already have home internet, why wouldn''t you just turn on WIFI calling on your cell phone?
It’s for the Data not for calling.. I only have 2 bars with lte .. with this connected I get 5 bars and a faster speed for data now

It’s a booster like a cell tower in your house to boost your signal.. yes I’m still connected to my home Wifi

@LS-qw6xq no its just a booster for wifi, you have to have internet for any device to work

Yes it’s a CellSpot to boost all your devices
I can't seem to find this on their website. How do you get it?
You have to call T-Mobile or Metro PCS
Ok, thanks!
You’re welcome 😎👍
No 5G?
It’s a LTE Cell-spot no 5G
Wheres the link to get this? I have t mobile but i want to be in the 350 Mbps download to 400+

I can't get past the finger nails of this "dude"... Geezzz.
Where did you get that??
Got it free from T-Mobile.. just call them and tell them you are having a weak signal and you need them to send you out one ☝️
Do you have to pay for it?
Nice improvement.
@@jlaforteon1 no it's free unless you break it or lose it

It’s funny I don’t see these types of videos for Verizon

That's because Verizon isn't trying to get the rural customer.
