Well I am 14ryrs married 3 children a dog and home owner and my wife been wanting a divorce for like 4yrs or more I pay all bills and do all cooking and cleaning I’m that honey do this guy I do whatever my wife wants with some restrictions I do speak up when she is wrong her parenting style is abusive that is most of are arguments so back in October 2020 I found out by going through her phone she been getting real close to a co worker that she been working with for at least a year he apparently liked her from the jump but my wife said she didn’t know so fast forward they spent whole night together and she tells me I’m allowed to have friends when whole time I knew what she was doing after she came home I yeah she left around 9pm came home 7am and same day we had a full vacation set in Reno so I was upset she couldn’t stop thinking about him literally he txt her if she awake and I’m wondering if this is a short term or long term so after like 2 weeks of talking and hanging after work she was begging him for sex but he didn’t want it my wife wanted to have fun and was about to end it cause she was on a different path so they fucked in the car at a parking lot then spending the night there even hotel play car play I read all messages and new what she was doing but so hard to divorce her cause of children now it’s been 2 months of ducking he went to her family house for thanksgiving with my kids in back seat while I wasn’t allowed to come mines the guy coming so later my daughter 13yrs didn’t wake up early enough to make my wife coffee and she started to swing arms and kick her result in a bruise to her ribs I had enough my 9yr told me they aren’t suppose to say what mom does but he said what happened and I called cops and got a protective order lasted 7days same day I served her she went to court house and filed a restraining order against me saying all kinds of lies then I get kicked out my house in December whole month by sheriff and she stayed with them the same one that did child abuse so fucked up cps didn’t like what happened and tried to interview the children but there mom avoided her so went to court with attorney and restraining order dropped and now I tried to get her out but judge in California was lenient to the mom and gave us week on week on bullshit I have no family so I stay in my car or get a hotel till I’m allowed to go home which is every Tuesday still waiting for my divorce court day and my wife takes picture of the house saying how dirty and how clean she keeps it but has the kids clean like slaves and the don’t want to be with her at all.. 3 interview first cops the cps then mediator same shit there mom is abuseive but judge showed favor
My relationship of 11 years fell apart last year after the discovery of my partner having an affair with a co-worker. Now separated, we are still trying to work things out but she doesn't feel ready to break her connection with this other man. They still work together and she wants to support him as a friend as his own relationship has also fallen apart - she cares for him and undoubtedly feels responsible for his situation. I applaud her desire to want to help another person who is suffering but I'm not sure if she understands just how painful it is for me, despite repeated attempts to explain it to her. I now don't know whether to pull away to give her more space to figure things out or whether to let her go entirely. Does anyone have any advice they can offer? I have received so many conflicting opinions from friends. Thank you.

I am in same situation. If she is unable to see the pain it is causing, you can't live like that and your own peace and happiness is more paramount than anything. You only have one life, make it the happiest one possible.
