He does, and it’s genius. He is probably the highest paid disc golfer by far. Edit: Whelp guess I was wrong! PM just locked in 10million dollars for 10 years. Lizotte has work to do if he wants to match a million a year...
Honestly, I love professional athletes who are like this. They don't come around very often, but when they do? Damn. Makes me think of the Magic Johnson, Ronaldinho type guys that are 100% there to entertain
Arne Widding wtf i play normal golf and always thought disc golf was some silly weekend warrior game now im reading some dude is making a million per year? crazy stuff props to you guys
7:00 was a brilliant play. I believe that left him a short putt back from out of bounds for a birdie. He didn’t have to worry about hitting a good spot on the fairway off the tee or sticking his upshot and since he had the distance to cross the water he didn’t even have to worry about losing the disc. He basically just took the entire hole out of play.
Hole 14 at La Mirada in 2016 was trolley other-worldly. Glad you caught it. One you didn’t include was Simon’s 360 “Hail Mary” on hole 18 I think at Wild Horse in Las Vegas, possibly the same year as La Mirada. Absolutely crazy good, even though he missed the birdie putt. Simon is in a league all his own.
@@Arrica101 a Simon route that taught me to look for other possibilities has nothing to do with power. Look for the TH-cam video of the 2017 Jonesboro Open round 1 back 9. Go to hole 11. Intended line is a dogleg left. Simon throws sideways left off the tee pad, down an adjacent fairway. Round 2 other players took that route. Round 3, the TD put up a mando to stop it from happening (player safety).
With Simon's genius level disc golf IQ you'd think he'd have a world championship or a major by now. Maybe with his elbow problems he will play more conservative and win one this year.
th-cam.com/video/ehYfE0ZekSI/w-d-xo.html Missed this gem when he played at my home course in Sweden. Par 5, Birde is reeeally good and thats with a good arm.
“Should work.” Is the magical phrase
I say that on a 300ft hole
Simon is the reason for mandos 😂
Underrated. 🤣
Sometimes I think Simon worries more about entertaining the crowd than trying to win a tournament lol. Great player though and fun to watch

@@dragonfire4401 yeah I just heard about the deal too. Amazing for him! 🤣

This is such an underrated channel
"It never looked good until it looked really good"
That's going on my tombstone. 🤘😎
This was exactly the video i was hoping you would post. Thanks man!
Backwards hat Simon was a different beast.
2:45 lol the "jesus" whisper 🤣
That lost shot is majestic... good work by Jomez getting the full flight
This is why Simon is my fav. I know why he does it. Great vid idea. Needs more views
Your content is awesome
Giant fairway in the sky... hell yeah
"Pretty much just one way to play it. And uh, er, what are you doing."

1:30 if you’ve ever played this hole at La Mirada in SoCal, you understand this was absolute insanity.
I’m a lefty and it tempts me every time I’m there but I’ll never have the guts to try it.
My fav disc golf channel
Love seeing the one at La Mirada over the houses. It's my home course and I look at it every time just to tell myself I would be throwing away a disc.
I’m a lefty. Every time I play there I want to take that route even before seeing him do it. I never have the guts to go for it though.
I tried throwing some Simon lines and they were so fun to try, and some of them even worked out!
Brazos #17. What a brutal hole. I watched it last year and will never forget it. 6:30.
The last one at 8:25 will always be the best.
Hopefully Simon can come back strong. Maybe take the normal line a bit more often to save that elbow lol.
Well, I am here from the future to tell you, he did :D
I too am here to tell you that your comment has aged quite well
Watching Simon has taught me that the obvious route isn't always the best. Always look at your options.
This is only true if you can consistently launch the disc like an absolute rocket though

There is no other player like Simon.... this man has built all that is fun in pro disc.
always love watching simon....magician with a disc for sure.
Simon is the personification of the "no, I don't think I will" meme
3:25 "flex" shot 💪 😎
"That's not a pro shot, that's a trick shot you don't pull out in a world championship" - Simon: 😁 (@7:10)
hole 14 at la mirada is nuts 1:13
These are epic lol
First time I ever saw Simon throw in person was at USDGC and he threw a backhand roller on hole 16 and parked it
Nothing will top the LaMi line on hole 5.
That open fairway high in the sky. Lol
A lot of players may be forgotten the day after they retire. Then there's Simon.
Why not?
I miss Simon on tour
I want more, more, more, more............
whats a Simon line?
Simon:.. sideways...
Every card is better with Simon on it.
"Simon gonna Simon"
Did simon won that ctp???
Simon♥️
Theres a lot of space in the air
I like to imagine that all pros will throw like Simon in 2040. Lol guys from the future
Do a worst tree kicks compilation

I think hes just in love with crazy shots and the cheers afterwards. Its like heroin to him.
only simon things

Is he a Genetic mutation or is it simply the placebo effect of his mind . Either way Simon is Amazing!
Think I found why he has issues going on lol
Maumau
Mau
Good idea, but would like to see where his throws hits the ground. This version was no good,
basketball is better with steph curry back and disc golf is better with simon back
