It was kinda cool that most of the top professionals walked in the gallery with us for the last few holes and the playoff. It started raining about 10 minutes after they finished.
I was there as crowd control for Rick vs Paul at Worlds in 2014. The gallery was massive, electric and humongous. Great golf was played that day. Sad someone had to lose. I also love that #5 and #1 are both at Blue Lake DGC.
8:09 is so hard to watch. that miss hurts even in a casual round with buddies let alone for a sudden death tournament win. EDIT: had to come back and say 9:30 are you serious ?? the pain doesn't stop

As said, I'm not in any way taking anything off from that tremendous battle. I personally would easily put that before all these five playoffs, if I had to make a list. This is just a compilation video made by someone and he decided to make a line somewhere. And this is just his top 5. I think this is not something that should be seen as a "disrespect" for older champs.

After 3 rounds I came back from the chase card to win it outright, until I realized I didn't add up my score correctly. 3 Stroke penalty. Which brought me to a tie and sudden death, with my best friend who came with me haha. I won the sudden death and my biggest tournament. Biggest nerves ever. We got 1st and 2nd place in the same car on the way home. Pretty fun experience.
Love Ricky vs Paul. I felt the whole time Ricky was going to win. Paul was just a beast and Ricky made one mistake and that was it. And I wish they used the view where you could see Schusterick say "WOW" at 10:58
That only lasted for 2 holes though, the schusterick-mcbeth playoff from 2015 bsf was way better Edit- he should’ve included that one too I didn’t realize this would include one hole playoffs

Must have been before this guy's time. 2003 USDGC is easily the greatest sudden death playoff. 10 playoff holes; 19 birdies and a par. This stuff is great, but they ain't that.
