- Tires are the only thing that connect your vehicle to the ground. Having good tires is one of the most essential things on your vehicle.
For a tire to do its job well it needs to have tread on it. Over time as you drive the tire treads wear off. Before the tread wears down dangerously low you should replaces your tires with new ones. While there are multiple ways to check the tire tread depth, most new tires come with a built in wear indicator bar.
In this video, I will show you what the wear indicator bar looks like, how it looks different for different tires and I am going to show that to you on 8 different tires. If your tire tread is at the same level as the wear indicator bar, it is time for you to replace your tires.
Drive safe!

I wonder who the reckless owner is of the tyre at 4.09 in this video! Useful video, thank you.
Good question! Whenever I see them next I will remind them to look for new tires in the near future!
My tires were measured at 8 is that good or bad?
You mean 8/32 inch tire tread depth? Yeah that is good. Approximately 75%-80% tread left on the compared to when it was brand new.
@@VirarAutomotive Thank you!

What a stupid presentation. Stop moving the camera. Put a good vs bad tire next to each other, then close up on them!
Use your eyes Tom, all the info is visible...
