  • In this video, we're exploring the ancient Zoroastrian practice of "sky burial," where bodies are laid to rest in Towers of Silence and returned to nature by vultures. This sacred tradition, practiced by the Parsi community in India, has faced a tragic challenge: the near extinction of vultures due to a drug called diclofenac. With vultures gone, the community is struggling to maintain their tradition, leading to creative yet controversial solutions like solar mirrors. This video dives into the history, challenges, and future of this unique ritual.

Good content but sound is off this week. Can barely hear it with my headphones on max. And my truck stereo is turned to max just to barely hear it too.
    Super interesting though.
