    This is beautiful. I hope this gets released as a serious product. Being able to compete with competent AI without having to hamstring myself is my number 1 top need

      with all rolling starts and penalties for collisions its much more difficult than before but many events are still too easy for me...

    i would like to see this mod implemented only in a couple of ais instead all of them, so that it gives more dynamic characteristics for each opponents.

      sincerely wish the ai was not so simple, even i made the best racing line some cars wouldnt like it.. thats why you saw random stuff going on in some of the events because the line didnt suit the cars in it

    This edit would make skyline slipstream mission much easier as they don't need to slow down

      they still slow down at test course for no reason ill give it another look later

      i think it was intended at test course for cars with capped top speeds like the classic muscle cars to slow down on the turns so they dont hit the rev limiter and slow down mid turn, but that unfortunately also kinda rubbed off on every car, where in example with two honda s models i pushed for videos, they would jam the brakes over like 100+ mph @@hatersbby

      its still better than it was tho, 1:57 shows that it can help with lines, and tbh its not any worse that it used to be

      @@lowercase. I think it was because of the understeer using the default line. It's tighter than the edited one.
      Still though, cars are different. It's not perfect, especially at Valencia Circuit iirc.

      its not good in valencia because the default spline is made for bikes. i ported one from gtpsp and it wasnt good either. i completely edited one to make cars take good lines without going off. another problem is the ai drives differently depending on the drivetrain so i can make a spline work for FF cars but it will be horrible for RWD etc. in autumn ring reverse FF cars dont like the long figure 8 turn because they have strong chance of going off. at that point its not in my hands anymore so best-for-all is impossible. i didnt even mention race cars

    Pardon my ignorance, but will this be released as a mod or is this just a showcase? GT's AI has always been the main weak point for me, and this fix as a mod would be a game changer.

      i removed the power/grip multipliers so its easy now. i gave them max upgrades with RH tyres but obvs its slower than normal version. Also there is a rolling start so the player wont be able to gain places from get go, cant punt ai because there is 5 sec pen.

      @@hatersbby How about equipping them with Soft compounds (not super softs/qualifier)? We did it in this way.

    I'd love to see this mod in the ps3 gran truismos, the AI there is just too slow do you have any plans modding gt5 and gt6?

      simply no, but afaik there are mods for gt6 on ai and its simple to edit. this is just a tiring effort on extracting the last bits
