A tip for you : if you do this, don’t wash off your potatoes, washed fruits and veggies get bacteria in it faster, similar to eggs there’s a protective layer your washing off when you do that slowly allows microscopic germs to get in the potatoes and they rot faster, fresh eggs as well that’s why we keep our store bought washed eggs in the fridge, fresh eggs can be left on the counter unwashed, keep fresh potatoes outside in a dark cool place with a decent amount of ventilation, this will make your veggies last as long as possible 👍

      * just remember to wash before eating😂 my great grandma owned and ran a farm in the 50s as a young woman due to her husband becoming paralyzed from a polo shot during deployment, they had 8 kids and she kept food on the table and money in their pocket by herself for 30+ years, she studied the moon phases and the weather extensively because she knew that success wasn’t fate, it’s a science, and she knew everything there was to know about soil animals trees seeds everything that you could know in that element she knew and had thought about it and figured it out on her own, and she took pride in passing that on, she wrote a book for our family and I cherish the knowledge I have from it and the great person she was that I can feel and see within it, literally the strongest smartest most resilient women I know, I couldn’t imagine doing anything so profound just thought I’d share that

👍👍👍👍 10,000 Times ! 20 year I bought minds from a farmer. I would go to his potato storage house where he stored them in a warehouse up to 8 months. He told me never wash the potato and keep them in a cool dry place, and do not let the temperature drop below 50 degrees ( it would freeze where we live ).

It's really cool to see people growing their own food. It would be great if more people acquired this habit. In addition to improving our health by consuming healthier foods, we contribute to preserving our planet by reducing the use of pesticides. Congratulations on sharing your knowledge and experience with us.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I completely agree with you. Witnessing individuals cultivate their own food is truly inspiring. Cultivating this habit on a broader scale not only enhances our well-being through the consumption of healthier foods but also plays a pivotal role in environmental preservation by minimizing the reliance on pesticides. I appreciate your acknowledgment and am thrilled to share knowledge and experiences that contribute to this positive change.

There's a patten that her other videos displayed the same flaws: most sweet potatoes are NOT attached to roots, even after cutting the main stem for easier harvesting, those sweet potatoes should still have at least a few thin string of roots attached. Make people wonder the harvesting video was edited with flaws.
