I have a ddx6705s in my car an my Daughter switched the bluetooth to her phone and then when I went to put mine back it wouldn't connect. I tried everything I deleted it from my phone 20x plus re-added it and it would play music for a second and then disconnect. I finally did it again and it worked! I love the unit but now I'm reluctant to let anyone in my Family switch phones, if this happens again should I reset the unit as your link?

I want to do a factory reset to revert the firmware to its original state. The method u mentioned isn't working for this mode. My radio worked perfectly till i sent it to Kenwood to fix a problem with a constant "re-booting" that it did. My unit came back with the speaker locator/volume control not controlling the correct speaker. For example I'd try to control the volume to the left front speaker and the right rear speaker would operate. Hope you can help me, please? Thanx in advance!

Can anyone help me? My DNX692 crapped out one night and didn’t come back on. It froze on the loading screen twice before completely shutting off, I powered it off every time it froze. Hi, my Kenwood DNN990HD won't get past the boot screen. I tried using a pin and touching the red triangle lightly to reset, but it would reboot and get back to the same boot up screen and get stuck there again. I tried clicking the eject button and menu button at the same time and then clicking the red reset button again, but the same thing would happen. Any ideas how i can get unstuck from the boot up screen? I am very technical and can manage if there are instructions that require me to open up the unit. Jeremy G I would take it out of the car and power it up on my work bench. I would play it all day to see if it has the same problem outside the car. To do this you would need a 12 power supply or a car battery.

Hi guys, my name is Joe. I have a Kenwood Excelon KVT-614 stereo. It came with the truck I just bought a couple weeks ago. I had to recently replace the batteries and now it is asking me for that 4 digit code. I tried all the basic codes but no good. I contacted the dealership where I bought the truck and they do not know as they got it at an auction. I searched online and it all says I need to return it to Kenwood. HI guys. Love the vids. Installing a kenwood dnx 573s. Had it working then exposed wire touched the side of unit. Fluse blew. Replaced it and now I only get a flashing red triangle. Any suggestions ?
George Merjavec press the red triangle for 5 seconds and see if the radio comes back to life. Also make sure the red wire has 12 volts when the key is on. You may have blown the cars radio power fuse also.
Have a ten year old DNX8120 and thought it finally took a dump. I did the easy reset and now she's back to working again. Thanks!

My ddx394 SAT all button are greyed out with the 2 person method you show? Only customize shows other buttons blank? no initialize all button?

My radio every time I start up my car it goes back to the factory setting meaning I have to set it up as if I just installed it. Very annoying since I have to set up my EQ all over again. Any suggestions thank you. I had it for about 9 months now and it’s never done that till now

My DNX692 crapped out one night and didn’t come back on. It froze on the loading screen twice before completely shutting off, I powered it off every time it froze. I checked every fuse with no luck.
Ive tried resetting it like 5 times and then I tried to factory reset and it didn’t work. The most I got was the red triangle 🔺 to come on for a couple seconds.
This thing is too expensive I refuse to believe it just died like that
Hi, my Kenwood DNN990HD won't get past the boot screen. I tried using a pin and touching the red triangle lightly to reset, but it would reboot and get back to the same boot up screen and get stuck there again. I tried clicking the eject button and menu button at the same time and then clicking the red reset button again, but the same thing would happen. Any ideas how i can get unstuck from the boot up screen? I am very technical and can manage if there are instructions that require me to open up the unit. I think there may be a debug port on the side. Any ideas for how i can get my system to work again? Thank you.

You all had a video on how to unlock kenwoods.. I have an older model.DNX6990Hd The problem I'm having I have a lot of icons that are Gray. Example audio set up is locked.. O e m features locked They are Gray. I can't press them to get my blue truth streaming for telephone to work.. Any help you can give me? I would greatly appreciate it. My kid on believe i'd hate to drop a lot of money on a new. Stereo windows when works just good if I could figure it out

So I bought a Kenwood DNX891HD with the navigation system off Ebay & whenever I'm driving while using the navigation it keeps freezing up or the deck will power off & sometimes not turn back on again unless I turn the vehicle off & restart the engine. I've now taken my truck into the shop that installed the system & they can't seem to figure out why this keeps happening. What should I do?
Jeremy G I would take it out of the car and power it up on my work bench. I would play it all day to see if it has the same problem outside the car. To do this you would need a 12 power supply or a car battery.
I have a kenwood ddx7015 installed in my Ford Focus. My car has been parked/ not running for a little over a year now. After finally getting it fixed and putting a new battery in it my radio "kenwood" head unit is now asking me for a password that is 4 digits and I never recall setting a password. Bout the car in 2014 I believe with kenwood already installed. Please any helpp

Hi guys, my name is Joe. I have a Kenwood Excelon KVT-614 stereo. It came with the truck I just bought a couple weeks ago. I had to recently replace the batteries and now it is asking me for that 4 digit code. I tried all the basic codes but no good. I contacted the dealership where I bought the truck and they do not know as they got it at an auction. I searched online and it all says I need to return it to Kenwood. I would rather just buy a basic stereo before sending it out. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thank you for your time. Joe

Pulling my hair out, I bought a car with the Kenwood DNN9250DAB headunit fitted, unfortunately the car ended up being a lemon, and the owners not responding to my messages, either regarding the Car or headunit, its password protected! Is there a way to reset the unit to Factory? I’ve tried other unit ways you’ve posted, but no luck!

HI guys. Love the vids. Installing a kenwood dnx 573s. Had it working then exposed wire touched the side of unit. Fluse blew. Replaced it and now I only get a flashing red triangle. Any suggestions ?
George Merjavec press the red triangle for 5 seconds and see if the radio comes back to life. Also make sure the red wire has 12 volts when the key is on. You may have blown the cars radio power fuse also.

DC protect mode . protection screen only nothing resets it? radio turns on dnx 572 kenwood logo etc but then goes into the protect mode
