    That part where you cut the figure to adjust at the 3 minute mark. What was it that you did? Have a bird sculpt im working on but the beaks part of the head and that would save me a ton of time cutting it and making ti a separate object for later positioning.

    Great model as always! Might I suggest removing the supports before the final curing? I've been finding it way easier to remove supports without damaging the surface while its still soft and only partially cured (though printing with less supports is probably always the better solution)

    Two questions... how does 3d printing cope with 2 objects intersecting? Is it best to make all one piece? Is a decimated model better, quads? Or doesn't matter?

    Hello! I am sculpting faces more than a year now, started as a hobby then resulted to gaining a little freelancing job. I just got my first printer this February and it seem my print have some slight difference to my sculpt in zbrush. I think it is because I never sculpt with perspective on. What do you think? And if I turn it on, what is the best angle of view? Thank you in advance!

    Follygon. i tried your method. Blocking out base mesh with Spheres. its not working for me. But Raf Grasseti method or Hossein Diba. they sculpt from single dynamesh sphere. i am more interested in that. i tried both. other method is comfortable for me. Tell me please. as a complete beginner. if i sculpt daily and practice daily. will i be progressing ? because most of the people say. Raf Grasseti method is more intermediate level rather than beginner. And as a Beginner you should blockout with spheres. but blocking out with spheres is not working for me.

    • @Follygon
      @Follygon  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sculpt however works best for you. I use this method to get hyper specific control of every shape in my silhouette. And of course you will see progress if you sculpt every day. It's not magic, it's just art :P

    You really should remove supports before you cure, a quick soak in hot water helps soften them too.

    • @Follygon
      @Follygon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I normally do it while curing. Haven’t tried the water though. Normally use alcohol.
