- Hey everyone, I would like to share my own custom Zbrush brush for sculpting hair for 3D printing and show you the process how to do it. It's bit different detailing technique compared to other hair brush I've found online, and it's really fast to create and edit for feedback. I hope you like it :)

Applying noise to the strands is such a genius way to break up the hair and add variations within seconds!!
Thank you for sharing the free brush and making this tutorial!
Adding the hairline detail by noise maker is genius, thanks for sharing your way!
Your sculpture is amazing too!
great tip! I was sculpting each tiny hair by hand.. this will save me tons of suffering, that I can later on use it for giving the natural look to the strands. thanks!

Awesome ! Thanks for sharing!
Very clever way of making nice hair
I've always been scrared of the transpose tool, this inspires me to learn it
The reason why the brush doesn't work properly without uv :
You have to draw a brush on the unwraped mesh to maintain the uv of the brush.
If you apply a brush to NOT UV mesh (Dynameshed mesh or anything), that hair Brush's UV disappears.
so you going to ZRemesher -> Roughly Unwrap -> Stroke brush on unwraped mesh.
Thank you so much for sharing these good tips. ^0^/
I can't find the roughly unwrap option.
I'm confused, how to add UVs a alpha inside a custom IMM brush file?
@_@ im really curious... If i wanted to make my own hair brush for example, I'm clueless how i would be able to make it, and have same results like Tioxic brush.
@@tokimatsu @Ecotech I was also having trouble with no UVs, but I solved the problem. I first set the UVs on the base model, inserted them into IMM, and the UVs were created.
Thank you, this helped a lot! For those still having trouble, you can insert a sphere, block out the hair shape, create a UV map>UVs, then apply Tioxic's brushes on that separate mesh instead of the head. That way your hair brush's UV will stay and you can apply the noise accordingly.
That's awesome, thank you!
Thank you so much, this will help me a lot!
really nice ! thanks for sharing !

excellent brush and technique too, very original congratulations on the video, does the texture also come in this download file?
OMG! Terima Kasih! This is very helpful!
Very helpful ! thank you so much !
I really want to know more and how do you rendering your 3D model !
Awesome!
Thank you for sharing
this is great
Excellent video
Thanks for sharing, there is also the other method of using same as u did with large clumps and them adding several hairs on the edge loops of the clump using a insert curve mesh. Having small hairs resting on a large surface will reinforce it for 3d printing, i don't think hair like this works for molding and casting tough.
Thank you so much
WOW you is the BEST
Very useful thanks
Hello Wandah ! Thank you so much for the hair brush you used in this work! I watched your stream on the Pixologic and the Raiden breakdown video taught me so many things! so thank you!
I have one question about matcap you use. In the Raiden breakdown video, you were using a " shader" matcap which is also located at the top of your UI in the video. Do you remember what is the name of the matcap and where you got that from?? that matcap looks really nice and I want to use it too.
thank you in advance! and love your work so much!
thank you!
THANKS A LOT!
thank you bang 🙌
Woagghhh gilak bang, semoga dibikin ama prime1 studio jga ini wkwkkw
Quick fix for people having troubles with surface because of uvs :
Block out with the brush, GoZ or export to blender, mark your seams on every strands, Unwrap your uvs in blender then finally go back to Zbrush with the unwraped mesh and try.
Worked for me I hope it will help some of you guys.
Please please do more content about your techniches, some tips and tricks.
Thank you
great!!!!
thanks for sharing
thanks so much
I don't use Zbrush but this is very interesting, good video
THANK U!
I LOVE YOU 💕
suwun bro, sukses selalu😁😁😁
very useful
tysm :D
Que crack que sos amigo
感谢分享,睿智的解决方案
awesome! thanks for sharing this dude
Niceeee 👍
If you get a problem when doing the surface step, just play with the Strenght value, i just had to increase it a little and it fixed it self
For some reason, the texture on the surface is just straight lines and not repeating the curve of the hair. Any suggestion?
Это потрясающе
thank u
Thx
How to do you avoid the vertical segment lines that noise maker puts on the mesh making the hair strands look like they are in segments rather than a continuous flow?
Keren bang ❤️❤️❤️, kapan2 buat tutorial armor hehehe, saya kalau buat armor walau pakai Hpolish brush kok tetap nggak rata ya permukaannya, ada saran kah ?
Its help me a lot! Thanks for that, but..when I apply the noise with the hair texture, the texture doesn't follow the direction of the mesh... is there anything I can do?
It doesn't work for me, I don't know if it will be my version of zbrush.
When loading the brush only one appears, it is not divided into 3 like an IMM curve
:(
I wish I could make it work
thank you very much for your generous contribution
You are my angel
rispek bang makasih,
Do you sell this Eula model anywhere? It’s incredible!
Hi, I've been struggling with trying to use your brush. In your sample tool provided (hair on head) it has UVs on the brush being used, but when using the brush on another scene there are no UVs, so adding surface noise is very weird. Do you have a fix for this?
What's the name of the brush??????
The link is in the description
Gilak” masih gak nyangka yg bikin prime 1 studio nier automata, btw dapet gratis gak bang statue nya hehehehe 🤣
please make a video on how to make a face like in the video, thankyou
I don't know why but first time i tried this it didnt work, got random stripes when adding noise. Second time it worked (restarted Zbrush).... If you create hair with his brush and you have dynamesh on it loses the polygroup (maybe its a normal thing in Zbrush), but i'm not sure why it didnt work for me the first time.
Also, can you or someone please tell me how this amazing artist created these brushes?
Hello i have a question,
when you have already put the insermesh on un subtool without UV Is it possible to have alpha or is it too late?
Thank you
Do you sculpt in pose or do you end up rigging and then posing your characters?
I always sculpt in pose for my character
@@toksikboi Ok thanks!
