That's almost as many times as he said "Hakan is one of the most dangerous characters". I can't be too hard on him though. Live match announcing is really hard to do, period, and even harder to do well. Add in how many hours these guys are on the mikes during Evo, and the kind of fatigue that generates, and I'm amazed they can even make a coherent sentence.
"street fighter 4 is a masterpiece of the series" "he needs more oil, he doesnt have enough oil, hes gotta get oiled up" "now its time for some oil" "now he has to oil he has to oil up now" "no more oil! no more oil!" "using the heavy oil to build as much oil as possible" "get away from that oil" "big oil"
Hakan when oiled one of the strongest characters in the game, Hakan when oiled is one of the strongest characters in the game, Hakan when oiled is one of the strongest characters in the game if not theeeee strongest. Yeah dude I don't think anythings changed in the 15 minutes you've been casting.
+Nimbus But he's using up that oil time, that's the important part, because using up the oil time is the important part. Using up oil time is the important part
They kept saying "he [PR Balrog] didn't have his charge" when Infiltration would teleport away, but it's because PR Balrog knew that Infiltration had his Ultra 2 and could cancel into it during teleport.
crookfane it was that guy climing the sheer rock face and he slipped and his dad called and he was like "I don't know if I can do it dad, it's so tough", and his dad was like "well so are you", and he climbed the wall and it was awesome
This was so awesome. My only regret is knowing the results before watching the video. Then again, if I didn't know the result, I may not have watched it.
A whiff punish is when you punish the recovery of an opponents move that missed (or "whiffed"). Perfect example at 1:11 Akuma threw out a low move that was badly spaced and Balrog whiff punished with a sweep. It's one of the fundamental aspects of the midscreen poking game (aka footsies). If you play against someone that's good at whiff punishing then you really have to think about when and where you throw moves out.
Infiltration made several brilliant reads throughout the matches he used hakan. He was pressured by rig for like 4 rounds il he took away his dash punch with command grabs. By the final round u could see rog didn't know what to do. Great game by both players
Sometime Seth Killian commentary is WAY off Infiltration did not "bet the farm" in that first round has Hakan. Turn Punch at the very least is -2, Ultra 1 is a legit punish
About counter-pick. PR Balrog has the option to change his character when he was losing. He did not, so there was no unfair disadvantage whatsoever, he just choose to be in that state.
So I've been noticing a lot of these matches are always taking place in the training stage. Is there any particular reason for it or is it because the other stages backgrounds are too distracting?
The animations on other stages (increase the chance to) cause lag. This is important in a game when time is measured in 1/60 of a second intervals toward your favor or your detriment. Plus money is on the line, and the grid helps both players.
come on people pr balrog did a great job against haken. why are u guys talking like pr balrog got destroy?? he didn't. akuma is also a bad match up . the man made him switch his main character for God sakes. balrog is an underrated character in opinion. true he doesn't have a mixup game but his got insane pressure game , great corner game, good mid game, frame trap the shit out u, best jab in the game. the only person that understand rog well is pr balrog. next time pr plays haken he will beat him. take my word. both did great job
Great match for both tech knowledge and commentator bloopers. Seth at 5:58 "One game a piece." stated as thought PR just concluded game two for a victory. Chen at 8:15 begins to give the Stream knowledge on PR's match history and Seth motherfucks his train. Seth at 14:32 states "He's got some amazing bags in his trick." The game and it's many commentators are just one in a million.
I was able to pick up on most of the fighting game lingo while watching this over the weekend, but one thing I didn't get was Whiff punish, or Whip punish. I'm not sure what they say. Anybody know what that means?
I wonder if Hakan is dangerous when oiled. They never said whether he is or not.
RaxuRangerking lol
RaxuRangerking lol
+RaxuRangerking lets just say
hes lubed up
I hear he's pretty good when he's not oiled up....oh wait
+Zurround100 Gives his focus attack, and command grabs more range. His dashes take him further back and forward, and his slides go further
James Chen, ladies and gentlemen - utterly obsessed with oiled up men.
Gotta hand it to PR Balrog. Not many players can beat Infilration's akuma so bad that he felt he had to counter pick to win.
For the record, the word Oil was used 27 times in this video
That's almost as many times as he said "Hakan is one of the most dangerous characters".
I can't be too hard on him though. Live match announcing is really hard to do, period, and even harder to do well. Add in how many hours these guys are on the mikes during Evo, and the kind of fatigue that generates, and I'm amazed they can even make a coherent sentence.
very true, I just thought it was hilarious that he said it do many times
2+7=9, 9/3=3. Halflife 3 confirmed.
Evo moment 27
And thats the important part!
"street fighter 4 is a masterpiece of the series"
"he needs more oil, he doesnt have enough oil, hes gotta get oiled up"
"now its time for some oil"
"now he has to oil he has to oil up now"
"no more oil! no more oil!"
"using the heavy oil to build as much oil as possible"
"get away from that oil"
"big oil"
*OIL*
U.S. military be like....
WHEN DID HE SAY BIG OIL HAHAHAHAHA
Based Oil
As Sagat needs more tiger, Hakan needs oil.
14:32 "He's got an amazing bags in his trick."
3:55 "Great stuff!"
Yeah I totally noticed that~
LMFAO
omg
14:32
Did you know that Hakan is one of the strongest characters in the game when oiled?
If not *the* strongest
This one match justified Hakan's existence in SF4.
haha ) but honestly, Infiltration somehow can make every character work D:
Hakan was awesome before Infiltration even looked at him.
This one match is why Hakan should have gotten into SFV.
He was one of few muscular characters to not be slow.
After this fight, Balrog became an advocate for alternative fuels so people would stop using oil
"He's got these amazing bags in his trick"
Rose Guardian Alyss lol
One of the most hype sets in Street Fighter 4 history.
While I like the coverage from IGN, it's just not EVO if it doesn't cut to the players and commentary sometimes.
around @12:11 @12:12, you can hear a guy in the audience say "oil, oil". LOL
I heard it
Hakan when oiled one of the strongest characters in the game, Hakan when oiled is one of the strongest characters in the game, Hakan when oiled is one of the strongest characters in the game if not theeeee strongest.
Yeah dude I don't think anythings changed in the 15 minutes you've been casting.
+Nimbus But he's using up that oil time, that's the important part, because using up the oil time is the important part.
Using up oil time is the important part
+Nimbus Thats commentary for you
Hakan when stronged is one of the oilest characters in the game
They kept saying "he [PR Balrog] didn't have his charge" when Infiltration would teleport away, but it's because PR Balrog knew that Infiltration had his Ultra 2 and could cancel into it during teleport.
That is correct =D.
I came for the video, but I seriously just saw the best Duracell commercial I've ever seen, I couldn't even make myself skip it
MISTA WULFY you deserved this plus 1
What one was it?
crookfane it was that guy climing the sheer rock face and he slipped and his dad called and he was like "I don't know if I can do it dad, it's so tough", and his dad was like "well so are you", and he climbed the wall and it was awesome
The number of times Chen said the word "oil" is too damn high!
This was so awesome. My only regret is knowing the results before watching the video. Then again, if I didn't know the result, I may not have watched it.
Hakan is so badass hope to see him in sfv one day
Sf6 one day
@@jellofan1578 Sf7 one day

'He's got these amazing bags in his tricks."

5:47. That follow up into ultra from an anti air dash punch was awesome.
Classic match between 2 awesome players. We're all privileged to watch it.
He got amazing bags in his trick by the way let's not forget that :D
LOL
Ne diyor yani
Hakan is the most interesting caracter of Street Fighter. his skill is very different
There must be a fine line between interesting and boring in that case.
yes there is a line. if you can find it ;)
But he is turk
@@saf6691 so?
@@saf6691 so?
Infiltration with his trick full of bags, apparently.
*Hakan being low tier*
Infiltration: *Hold my Oil*
Hold my Oil*

James Chen obsessed with dat oil
came back for the memories
love that James referenced the movie "Chocolate" at 00:49 thats an awesome movie. It's cool he knows about it. ^^
Infiltration made several brilliant reads throughout the matches he used hakan. He was pressured by rig for like 4 rounds il he took away his dash punch with command grabs. By the final round u could see rog didn't know what to do. Great game by both players
Hakan doesn't need oil. He just needs to apply a little James Chen during the fight!
Even knowing the outcome, this set is intense as hell.
He's got these amazing bags in his trick
One of the best players of all time. What a legend.
"He has amazing bags in his tricks" furrrshurrr
8:15 is where the Hakan match starts
Some legend says americans are still searching for hakan
The game looks crisp bro
10 Years And Still Feels New
Sf4 has aged quite well
Hakan is one of the best characters. He is awesome
mal
Sometime Seth Killian commentary is WAY off
Infiltration did not "bet the farm" in that first round has Hakan. Turn Punch at the very least is -2, Ultra 1 is a legit punish
I miss Hakan
Man it was so hype watching this live.
14:32 - Commentator is so thrilled that he said" he has got some amazing bag in his tricks"
That guys making me like watching a real box match.Making me watch as excited :D
This is the oiliest comeback I've ever seen
Amazing bags in his trick. LOL
LMFAO ikr
Did you hear it?
What means this
14:32
When I saw this for the first time, as a Hakan player, I blacked out for a second or two. I could feel the electricity in my brain.
unreal both them very good and fun match to watch from the start to end. I watch dis like 50 time already am still watching match again
this is like a real fight, this is awsome!!
This is one of the best ssf4 series sets ever.
About counter-pick. PR Balrog has the option to change his character when he was losing. He did not, so there was no unfair disadvantage whatsoever, he just choose to be in that state.
Iv never even watched street fighter, but this fight had me so hyped up
That win quote though, serves PR Balrog right :D
Nice to see Hakan get some love!
Ahhh, 2013. When it was cool to use each character's base colors.
I found this video by searching street fighter oil guy
Hakan is Turkish player, vide 'Tarihi Kırkpınar Güreşleri' search on google
oktay mutlu hee

Bags in his trick
Old bags turn tricks.
So I've been noticing a lot of these matches are always taking place in the training stage. Is there any particular reason for it or is it because the other stages backgrounds are too distracting?

Yes, balrog was too easy for me
Never gets old
you mean oiled
any hakan experts in the comments? I'm trying to find out is hes dangerous when oiled
Very good match great job from both guys
come on people pr balrog did a great job against haken. why are u guys talking like pr balrog got destroy?? he didn't. akuma is also a bad match up . the man made him switch his main character for God sakes. balrog is an underrated character in opinion. true he doesn't have a mixup game but his got insane pressure game , great corner game, good mid game, frame trap the shit out u, best jab in the game. the only person that understand rog well is pr balrog. next time pr plays haken he will beat him. take my word. both did great job
agreed. as someone who mains Balrog and also plays Hakan, PR Rog still did good against Hakan despite it being a bad matchup. Hakan ftw!
how do they do that regenerative hit (when they get hit but hp regenerates), is it a dash??
best game of the year. I have never been more excited from watcing SSF
“NO MORE OIL! NO MORE OIL!”
*turns down speakers*
amazing bags in his trick
I got some amazing bags in my trick too... if you know what I mean ;)
Infiltration has some amazing bags in his trick.
Gotta admit, they had us in the first half
This one legendary match justified Hakan's existence in SF4.
MY name hakan :D
Bende gokhan
Bende abdurrahman
Oil up then.
Best Thug Life!!!
OusmandTakeover 😂😂
truly a fan of anyone that plays against the clone dromes: ryu/akuma/ken
Its how he got his name. When he came into the scene he was known as that Puerto Rican Balrog player
I missed EVO... But now I know why I've been seeing a lot of Hakans lately online...
I miss sf4
beautiful
Cant wait to see hakan on street fighter 6
Yeah, it's probably on Sale right now on steam, I bought it last year on PC.
9:22 He must've hit the air really hard to make it simulate a straight wall.
Hakan wonderful!!!
So sf6?
Buen regreso para ganar no apto para cardiacos una de las mejores peleas de EVO podria ser la mejor...
Damn what a great match

Awesome!

At the end the dude said " He's got some amazing bags in his tricks"
People choose training stage for less distraction while playing, and also the simple background causes less lag when playing online...
I was so torn while watching this. I really wanted PR Balrog to win, but Hakan is my favorite character...
Hakan this be? Ryu kidding me man?
I Ken not believe it either!
So much better Dan anything I have ever seen!
Yun not Gen win. Honda joystick over.
If you want the joystick, Shao Kahn have it. Oh wait...
Ken you believe it? Sodom of you to make a MK reference. Shoryuken make reference's but please make them relevant.
I was able to pick up on most of the fighting game lingo while watching this over the weekend, but one thing I didn't get was Whiff punish, or Whip punish. I'm not sure what they say. Anybody know what that means?
coming back to this fight, can someone explain why pr rog kept jumping in game one of the hakan match?
not sure if you heard, but apparently Hakan is very dangerous when oiled
Evo was like 2 months ago I think. Besides, this is Daigo's first victory on Infiltration since... 2011 !
Oil was said OVER 9000!!!!!! times
Nice try but wrong game bro...😁😁
JohnnyTheFlash
Nice try. But wrong genre bro...😁😁
I enjoy hearing "hakam oiled, one of the strongest characters..." OVER and OVER and OVER again.
I like how the commentator watched Chocolate, that movie is pretty damn good...
is is available for pc?
this match is much better than the grand final ...
