Amir’s “little guy” country song actually made me tear up laughing 😂
it's just sad that the lil guy feels he has to make "small jokes" to fit in with the "tall folks" :(
Finally the star of the show makes his long awaited debut
The JJARR of the NO
Jake?
Boo, absolutely boo
Oops I thought Faris was appearing. delete tweet
she's da belle of da ball
The 1ft 3in cowboy is going to need a full write up.
Two Foot Dreamin' by Amir
Segment idea: everyone gets in a character and you attempt to figure out what the others character is while remaining in character
“She showed me the sphere, said these are your hats” almost fucking crashed my car laughing
my favorite part is the way jeff is ice cold and shivering the entire episode. this would never happen with cozy cola walls
Having Geoff on Segments feels like coming home after war
"You got a fast jake, lets get tickets to a baseball game, I want to eat chicken nuggets"
Is this one of your schizophrenia songs? Same dude. Been looping in my head since the video was first released.
@@zacharyharbridge9231 I had never heard fast car before that video actually lol.
@@maxytheripper I'd heard the song as a kid and knew the riff, but when I actually heard the song in the radio, I couldn't NOT sing Fast Jake hahaha
Anything is better
Than me paying cause I don't have cash
I was pretty f***ing clear about that
When I said I didn't have cash
You heard me, right?
We NEED the UNABRIDGED and fully produced 'Little Man'
My trinity of comedy ⚔
I can’t believe Amir experienced improv for the first time, he really tried to explain the synergy “it’s like we shared one brain” lmfao cute.
But enough roasts for the chipmunk, his country song was obviously the best.
Just like the good ole days… jake & amir & geoff ❤️
the idea of a chilled out comfy song about getting ready for the day in a "day in the life of" way slowly turning really angry and bitter as the person can't find shit they need for the day is a fantastic idea
Amir's country song made me laugh so hard, it hurt. I didn't know laughing while pregnant could hurt that bad but I couldn't stop.
The 1ft 3 cowboy country song was soo funny 😂 22:45
“They would hire locals to bottle feed me river water” 🤣
Jake is pronouncing Azores wrong, but it’s a beautiful vacation and it’s well worth it. My family is from there and I’ve been there before, stunning islands. Especially fun if you’re into botany/geology/marine biology
6:57 such an unhinged conversation, I love it 😂
Loved this episode of Dregments!
Might have been the best episode.
I want to hear a full 'little guy'
I used to think Geoff brought such a humorous energy to everything he was part of. And I still think that, but now I'm wondering if that energy is actually just being mean to Amir.
Red Deer is actually a pretty good city for Amir. It's pretty close to both Calgary and Edmonton and he could drive to one of the more affordable ski resorts (not Banff).
Geoffs infection of Headgum continues...
This would have been a great waxing ep
It's honestly so fucked you call out my hometown of Red Deer, Alberta. Shit hit me like a truck
"It's sort of where the water runs VERY wet" , moving to Red Deer right now
The way he advertises the thankles hearkens a nuclear bomb of me
Who is this mystery guest? I don't recognize him. I figured they'd only pick people they were friends with.
GEOFFREY GEOFFREY GEOFFREY
Can't choose a song, I laughed really hard at all 3
Amir's song > Geoff's song > Jake's song. Objectively, no offense
No way Red Deer, Alberta was mentioned 😂 please come back to Calgary boys
Dregments!
Someone needs to animate Amir's song
After hours truth or drink!
Crossover with Here to Help!
Segment idea: ask chat gpt to pitch 20 segments, roll a d20, and do that one.
What is this, some sort of “Dregments” knockoff show?
Of course Geoff said sand. Does he say rice? Let’s keep watching.
Literally going to propose to my gf in the Azores in a month
that's exciting! good luck, i hope you guys have a great time :)
Take her whale watching if you get the chance. The grey whale populations are super active in April.
I never say anything nice about Amir, you guys know me, but his song was the best of the 3.
Thems some thin ankles
What’s the deal with Geoff’s sweater paws
just saying my nickname is Uchi. I feel seen. But like the kind of seen where you just see someone in a crowd, never really looking directly at them.
How does it seem like Geoff is always moving
Segment idea with 2+ guests: two of these people are lying. Game that Tom Scott plays where 3 people bring a wikipedia article, the 4th person picks one out of the hat and reads the title. The person whose article it was describes the real thing, the other two people pretend it's their article too and make something up, and the guesser has to figure out who's describing the real article
Is this entire conversation on edibles
It's been so long since if I were you that I forgot about Jake's awful gum smacking
"a rotting wife"
Who the flap is this guy
Jk I know it’s Vlad the Impaler
If Amir really spent $1700 on one meal, I might genuinely hate him now.
sand
I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.
First is worst
So not only this pod is so mid, but now you guys are not even prepared?
You deserve so much more than this
Stop listening, please like you’re last few comments on the podcast are all just negative, if you don’t like it just don’t listen
Your life sounds really sad, man. You're trying to make some random small celebrities in the US feel bad with ignored youtube comments. That's a horror movie of a life. In a film, you'd be a basement dwelling serial killer.
@@StuartM62 sorry, I DID know that you guys are just a bunch of circle-jerking DIVAS! But you are right, I'm clearly kidding myself that content will improve in time. See you never
PS Go Bills
“Nobody puts baby in the björner” dear lord how did we wait this long for Geoff
Amir wrote the best song and they still berated him, life is so unfair smh
“You maximized, but your ceiling was a floor to others” did not get enough credit
Amir’s song was clearly the best
Segment Idea: 'No More Jockeys'
This is a game created by British comedian Alex Horne - would love if you guys tried it out!
The idea is that you name someone famous and/or known to both of you, and along with the person you name you have to give a rule that applies to them in some way.
For example, Amir could say 'Jake Hurwitz' and then 'No more people who host a podcast', and then Jake wouldn't be able to say 'Amir Blumenfeld', but he could say: 'Ben Schwartz: no more people who've made an appearance on our podcast.' The rules stack up over time, so the field of people you can choose gets progressively smaller. The way you win the game is by challenging the other on their choice of person and convincing them that the challenge stands. So, in this example, if after Jake's go, Amir then said 'Bo Burnham', Jake could challenge him on the premise that Bo Burnham has in fact been a guest on 'If I Were You'. The challenge has to accepted by both parties in order for it to succeed - if it doesn't, the challenger loses one of their three challenges; if they lose all three then they lose the game by default. You cannot challenge someone on a name/rule once it has been accepted and the next player has given a person/rule - you cannot challenge retroactively just because you now remember a rule after the fact (I guess like in Monopoly where you can't call others out for landing on your property once the game has moved on). You can be as creative/subjective with the rules as you like. One of the rules in Alex Horne's game was: 'Gary Lineker [British football commentator]: No more people whose second name you have to think twice about spelling'. Long description but it's a great game and think would be jks if you guys played it.
big if
New segment idea- Casey and Geoff taskmaster their sorry asses
This feels like it would run it’s course fairly fast tbh.
@@StuartM62 I get that but still worth a shot imo esp for eps with guests. I reckon there could be some pretty funny exchanges coming up through it.
sounds awesome!
segment idea: a sponsorship from someone other than betterhelp
This is the best suggestion fr
Segment ideas: whos 55? Except it’s who’s 5’9”?
1 foot 3 cowboy has got me in tears can amir please record a full version thanks
1 ft 3 in cowboy was the hardest I’ve laughed in a very long time.
Seeing Geoff laugh so hard at their jokes brings a smile to my face.
Great video guys #freepalestine
Based 🇵🇸
Meh
@@mytitaniumalloy 🤫
hey bring back the old intro
Does anyone know which headgum ep Amir is talking about in the beginning??
Please have Geoff back soon as he is basically sprung from ya'll loins. The word story improv was great maybe yall can improv a Geoffrey sketch w him next time
why is amir drinking pickled eggs
one of the better episodes of The Headgum Podcast
Segments, the show where 20% of the time there are no segments
Are you guys ever happy?
That’s one of the segments. The wax segment
My Bond of the Week this week is Avital Ash, noted starlet of of the Edinburgh Fringe because I think it's time for a James B- W... what's that?
Oh, I'm sorry. I saw Geoff and I just... I'm so sorry. I'll save it for next time then. My bad.
Who could’ve known Geoff would have a sour mood during the theme song?
the better help ad was a jumpscare why are you so close to the cam
What happened to Geoff’s ankles? They’re like chopsticks
Segment idea - Wikipedia race; you both start with the same wiki page and have to get to a specific different wiki page as fast as possible using links found on the wiki pages you both find yourselves on.
Might work better on a zoom ep cause then we can see your screens
So who is stalking Geoff to make him nervous about getting doxxed? Don’t ladies know he is a paper man?
How can Geoff be such a great guest but horrible host? It's uncanny. It's the duality of Hamm (John)
Segment idea: Amir and Streeter listen to Everything/Nothing
Geoff is the sturdiest member of the group
I want to know what that 'Gay Bar' book is about.
Bobby Lee 2.0 would be awesome
Amir's a Tallahassee man
40:50
Why is the camera that's on geoff and jake so low res compared to the other cameras
the wide is 1080p, solo amir is in 4k. the one on geoff and jake is 480p and casey's cam is a potato!
What ep of the headgum pod is amir talking about?
I’m pretty sure it’s ep 186 “Spotify rapt” but idk when in the episode it is
I feel like while recording these episodes in bulk may be more efficient and easier on the cast, it definitely detracts from the quality. No way we're less than 20 episodes in and already out of ideas, right? I don't mean to be a coy roach but whoever is directing the show needs to take a day to pre-plan the episodes or maybe dial it down to monthly episodes if the ideas just aren't there.
