    You should be snatching the grinder and cutting wheel out of your dads hands and getting dirty learning some new skills. Rather than just watch, but great build man

    Love what you guys are doing, Im building a 2005 jeep grand Cherokee build myself with the 5.7 hemi package. A beast she will be. Just couldn't help notice you used 1 inch square tubing for your roof rack. That thin walled mild steel is gonna flex and dent your roof in with the weight of that tire and you guys hitting the trail. If you do see my observation and decide to rebuild the rack use round tubing, its gonna hold a lot more weight and serves as a crash bar. That 100 pound tire is a sledge hammer to the roof.

    Damn that last bit made me jealous. I have a brand new 5.2 v8 in mine but I need to do something with the alternator pulley because it squeals super loud. Anyways, I just got mine re painted and am currently looking for a light setup. Definitely need some subs in there too.

    Hey man. Where did you buy the lift kit? I'm from Mexico, but a don't get yet some like yours. If you have a web page where you bought it it could be great. Hope you can healp me.

    • @azoffroad_net
      @azoffroad_net  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I originally bought it off 4WheelParts, although it looks like its been discontinued since. That was a 3.5" lift, so I guess the closest would be a 4.0" lift (www.4wheelparts.com/p/trail-master-4-0-inch-lift-kit-with-ngs-shocks-tm102n/_/R-DHGR-TM102N). Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

    Nice job on the XJ but as a welder by trade it makes me cringe to see people grinding without face shields and welding and oxy cutting without gloves, metal chunks imbedded in your eye balls really f@#kin sucks, trust me on that one, hot slag, not so great either.

      @OzZy-13820 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tyler Spellman totally agree. I was cutting a exhaust off a jeep that was sitting on a garage floor ie; not on the lift, and slag was flying everywhere, piece literally bounced off the floor and smack dab into my eyeball. Luckily my eye came out of it okay but it was messed up for a while.

      It has 31s on it right now. That's the biggest we could fit with the 3.5" lift without serious modifications.

    I can't stand watching this, it's great and all but the kid does barely anything, he can't built or anything all he can do is paint. Why post a video of someone doing all the work for you. Own a vehicle like this the fun part is tricking it out not watching someone do it for you. That is the definition of lazy.

    • @azoffroad_net
      @azoffroad_net  7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      its Tman - Part of the fun is learning the proper way to do things from someone who knows what they are doing. That way on the next project I know what I'm doing. Besides, if I wasn't "lazy" and film everything, how would people like you hate on the TH-cam video?

    • @717UT
      @717UT 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Dude he's learning from his dad. Some of the best learning I ever did was watching first.

    • @mcruz4467
      @mcruz4467 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wished my dad was this handy!.

    • @GJAZ964
      @GJAZ964 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Seriously dude, lay off of the hate. It's better to watch it be done correctly than to do it incorrectly and have something break on the trail. You can't just expect people to buy a jeep and automatically know how to fix/modify everything. I spent a lot of time in the garage watching my dad work on cars before I started working on cars. Seeing something done is very valuable experience. Besides, this guy's videos are extremely well edited and compiled.
