I’m about to get a 96 cherokee from a buddy and I’m pretty excited and seeing your videos gets me even more hyped up lol but I’m really loving the wheels on this bad boy!
rear lower control arms are on upside down. they are called high clearance arms for a reason so they don't hang that low. they should be bent just like the front.
Thanks man! Kids are great and its up to US as fathers to make sure they like cars/trucks in the future as well as know how to work on things. :) Thanks for the love man!
I didn't do the whole drill and install crush sleeve thing for the rear brackets. I used the two bolts that go in from the bottom and welded the rest of the bracket on.
Awesome vids! Subscribed! Pretty sure the lower rear arms are on upside-down. The arch should face up for more ground clearance. Can't wait to see it's maiden beat down.
Ground clearance. I don't like the mounting locations on the long arm system. (its below the frame) Where the standard mounts would be tucked up in the factory locations.
I paid $250 for the Jeep itself, and turned it into an amazing offroad toy for about $3300 total investment. I ended up selling it for $4500, so made a nice little profit too
put some LOKKA lunchbox lockers in it so it can actually climb something. The best value in a 4x4 is it actually being a 4x4, LOKKA will fix you up for about 500.00, best money spent
I own a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo as 208000 miles I treated like dogshit cuz the cab is dogshit the interior is all breaking constantly but the engine and transmission will never ever let me down
ProComp... they worked well on the trail, and they are very quiet on the highway. So I have no "special" way of saying they are the best or not. But those two factors were what I wanted, and they do both. So for me, they work well. :)
Your wife was the best part of the video. Why did you suggest her to leave. If she was my wife I would have gave her respect. I have seen her on youtube before. As much as I like jeeps because I own one too. It got boring after you kicked her out.
looks great how many inches lift and what tires and rims? happy christmas and new years brother i have a 94 zj 5.2 check it out on my ig @jeeplifejesus tell me what you think

This is my favorite ZJ series! Keep the videos coming!
Where's Part 6?
rear lower control arms are on upside down. they are called high clearance arms for a reason so they don't hang that low. they should be bent just like the front.
I flipped them around. :) Thanks for the catch guys.... got another video dropping, with all sorts of jeep carnage! :)
Not a problem and I am ready to see that video
Posted!
Great vids man, your daughter is adorable. I have 2 of my own. They're actually helping me build my jeep right now.
Thanks man! Kids are great and its up to US as fathers to make sure they like cars/trucks in the future as well as know how to work on things. :) Thanks for the love man!
Take a heat gun to the gray trim all around the bottom of that jeep and it’ll get its color back and get dark again
Plus front brush guard bake brake light covers
Got a 1995 yj Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo putting 6 inch lift on plus tires from jeep Rubicon tires and rims
You done good Mike's Hard Lemonade.
Any update on the lift and how the zj is doing
I didn't do the whole drill and install crush sleeve thing for the rear brackets. I used the two bolts that go in from the bottom and welded the rest of the bracket on.
I thought about doing that, I might still do it. :)
Rear lower control arms are on backwards.
We swapped them after we figured that out LOL. Newbie problems.
LMAO

Really? hmmmm interesting they fit perfect, and its aligned right. BUT see this is why I am an amature. :) Time to go double check. LOL
802vanman yeah, those arms are upside down.
I flipped them back the other way, days before the trip to the park! THANKS FOR catching this guys!
Yep, upside down, first thing I noticed. lol
@@erikradzins I just bought a 95 zj was wondering how much you spent total and was size engine your 97 had?
Lo recomendable en este kit es 31” ¿porque utilizas 33? ¿Roza con la carrocería?
Did you guys dock?
let me know how you make out with the death wobble also the lower track bar ripping right off the Axle as mine did with a 2 inch lift.
No death wobble at all. :) And I drive her 80mph frequently.
What kit did you use for the back I like how thay fit in the stock 4 link spots on the axle
What size lift and size tires
31" and it was a 6" long arm kit. WAIT till you see what I bought next... a military 6x6!!!! (subscribe and follow along that build)
When you did that kit does it require you to replace drive shafts or does it keep the factory one
Factory! :)
What size and model tires? And how much were they?
So I'm going to lift my zj and I'm deciding between this lift the 4 in long arm kit or the obs 6 in long arm lift. Its a 500$ price difference.
If I did it again, I wouldn't do the long arm. I would do the biggest lift I could that mounted in the stock location. Hope that helps.
Erik Radzins what is the reason?
Ground clearance. I don't like the mounting locations on the long arm system. (its below the frame) Where the standard mounts would be tucked up in the factory locations.
please correct me if my info is no good but that whole job was a $250 diy???
I paid $250 for the Jeep itself, and turned it into an amazing offroad toy for about $3300 total investment. I ended up selling it for $4500, so made a nice little profit too

Get rid of qudra trac
You should check out BleepinJeep

6:05 Its a grand cherokee!
I own a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo as 208000 miles I treated like dogshit cuz the cab is dogshit the interior is all breaking constantly but the engine and transmission will never ever let me down
So what inch lift is this
6.5" I believe. Its just the largest one they make thats all I know.
Eric, very cool ! Would you mind replying with all the parts you used for the lift and tires? I want to do the exact same thing. Thanks !
Where is Part 6??? How did it drive ???

How high was the lift? I think I missed that part
4" long arm.
My friends and i never had pit bulls but quads and Dodge trucks lol

How many inches lift does it have?
It was a 6" long arm kit

Holy cow when your girl walked in I did a double take because I thought that was my daughter, they could be twins.
wat kind of tires?
ProComp... they worked well on the trail, and they are very quiet on the highway. So I have no "special" way of saying they are the best or not. But those two factors were what I wanted, and they do both. So for me, they work well. :)

Nice to know that there's people out there that believe a Grand Cherokee is actually a Jeep you can take that both ways which way do you take it
the zj is more of a jeep then any other grand cherokee
Well, I paid $1,000 for mine. It's dope.
Part 6??
Ironically, its coming. :)
