How many times do people have to ask about the whole thing being on video and what's happening with that considering these clips before someone actually answers?
Apropos her performance in "Much Ado About Nothing" - I was in the cinema getting ready to watch her performance in that play when they announced the Queen's death live on screen. They gave a minutes silence, played the National Anthem where half the audience stood up and half sat awkwardly, and then they gave an absolute barnstormer of a performance. If they ever replay it then I thoroughly recommend seeing it.
Just a guess but maybe it's because many people go and listen to the full podcast, so an edited version has no interest to them. As I say, just a guess.
I first heard of Rob on BFQ and thought he was fantastic. Since then I have watched heaps of his work. He is supremely funny, witty and on the ball. He also seems like he's quite a good man and his peers admire him too. He's awesome.
Brydon never far from the centre of his own universe. She mentions where they first met and then it's all about him, and more about him later working with Clooney and it going well. But, she has natural aptitude for comedy and now gaining more acting roles.
As an American, I really didn't know much about actors on the other side of the pond until i some how found WILTY. You can't help but fall in love with the women on that show. They are funny, vulnerable because we are learning quirky things about them and quick on their feet with witty come backs. I even looked up Katherine on Wikipedia. She was beautiful when she was young and grew even more beautiful now. Thanks to Rob, WILTY and all of UK and its neighbors for making this American laugh so hard. Be blessed, Leo from San Diego. Oh and RIP to Tara. She was funny, beautiful, smart and made my heart melt. She seemed like a pure, all beit rich soul. The thing with the clouds and Lee calling her a spoiled rich B kind of stung her , but she was so funny at playing it off. Can you tell I really like the show? ✌️
I have learned of this delightful lady only recently. Of all places on 8 out of 10 cats does countdown. I fell in love with her fantastic wit and comedy style! The interview was far too brief for such a talented and interesting person! An admirer of both, from across the pond.
I just discovered this channel, how awesome is this! I always thought Rob was and is a fantastic human being. Although I don't know him personally, I feel like he is the cool talented Uncle I never had.
@@Northernsolstice I can't remember which The Trip series it was. But the one where Brydon and Coogan exchange their impersonations of a newsreader announcing someone's death is a classic.
In the IT crowd Katherine was very, very funny. But I will always remember her role in the Channel 4 programme 'Humans'. Her role as the mother of that family felt so believable that, even in the context of a sci-fi world, the whole thing always felt so real. Definitely some of the best acting I have seen. Such a shame that it is in a show that so many people may never have even heard of.
She is phenomenal in IT crowd. She has to buy these sexy shoes which are a couple of sizes too small. I just remember the way she pronounces “SHOES-A”. So cute.
Every episode of the IT Crowd is phenomenal. The best one is when they go to the theatre for the gay play, their faces when Moss is behind the bar and Roy in the wheelchair...lololol
@Rob - Might be a lone voice on this one… but would love to hear about your memories of working on the Discworld game in ‘95. It’s a game I have very fond memories of and only recently found-out you did half the voices. Great stuff!
Katherine Parkinson has been in SO many great shows lately. She's brilliant. Loved her on Task Master, too. She's also hotter now than she was back in the IT Crowd 😊 Spreadsheet didn't really do it for me as much as her other shows - the one where she's a barrister is my current favourite.
I'm American and wasn't familiar with her until I saw her on "Hitmen." Then I caught her "Taskmaster" episodes (maybe not all of them yet) and some highlights from "Travel Man"... she's a delight!
Rob, get Lee Mack and David Mitchell on to just have a chat talking about anything. That would be epic, just found this channel subscribed immediately!
Katherine said her sex scenes had a comedic thrust. Disappointed Rob didn't react to this at all. It wouldn't have been hard to grab a hold of that "thrust" with one hand or both and play with it a little, instead nothing came of it and it disappeared into a dark hole.
Two very different series I loved (no hyperbole, I'm fussy)- both feature Catherine; IT Crowd and Humans. The later I've watched the amazing first series of, a dozen times.
A curious episode. I know he wasn't bearded, but it may be the way it frames your face, Rob - I kept seeing Katherine Parkinson (a veritable Matryoshka doll of giggles) I kept seeing Katherine being interviewed by Bruce Forsyth. And yes, without the commercial impetus of self-promotion, the conversations tend to be just that. Another lovely chat! - cheers. 😊
When people arent promoting something it's a better chat. The interviews that ARE motivated by selling something to people or promotion of yourself are less genuine. Many of the most popular podcasts get popular because of exactly that, two people talking like real people not like someones come to your door to spread the good word.

Rob you look like Dr Strange
The audio here is too soft. You've got to make the youtube uploads louder.
Booooooooooooo, lame
Really like how Rob gets someone different each week to interview him
Hahahaha
😂
Perfect
😂
🤣🤣😂😂
I'm a big Katherine Parkinson fan, ever since I first watched The I.T Crowd on a plane going somewhere on holiday. Glorious programme, glorious woman.
Speaking of the IT crowd, Rob is giving off big magician vibes right now
Michael the magnificent.
Katherine is a pure gem :)

I loved her in Much Ado…
I hope they arrange a royal death at each performance
Ye nobody cared or cares about the queen and her crazy family
I absolutely adore her! Thank you for having her on the podcast!
Great to see Richard Hammond as Rob's replacement on the show this week
These uploads are criminally under-watched - you've got the best podcast going for archiving the lives of active British comedians/actors
Just a guess but maybe it's because many people go and listen to the full podcast, so an edited version has no interest to them. As I say, just a guess.
@@Elwaves2925 I hope so! I’d hate for him to stop doing them for a lack of advertising

Thank you for having Katherine on. Love her!
Great interview Rob, Catherine is quite lovely and fun. Nice to hear about her career doing well.
What a lovely interview. 💕💕
Great interview and wonderful guest hard not to love Katherine 👍
She was great on WILTY. Hope you get her back on.
Fantastic Episode loved her on the IT Crowd particularly loved the internet episode
The BUTTON for the INTERNET?!

Great interview - Rob is one of the few comedians to make me laugh out loud. He is incredible.
The 'Rob Brydon, who died earlier today' got an unexpected guffaw from me haha

Richard Hammond has really got the welsh accent down to a T!
Excellent. One remark, though, the sound is too low.
Turn your volume up
Turn the sound up Rob !!!
You turn your volume up

Lovely!!!!!! Thank you!!!
Love the Tom Jones look. lol
thought he going for the Alan look from the new series of from the oathouse
"HUURGH!"
She was so good in The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society!

Katherine has such a soothing voice. ‘Hello Jen!’

Why on earth did they stop The IT Crowd
If you haven’t watched the series “Humans”…omg, stop and watch. She’s incredible.
Ahhhhhhhh!! I loved that show, especially S3.
Another criminally cancelled show.
Rob is an excellent host for WILTY.
That face over Katherine’s left shoulder is terrifying
'Humans' - brilliant character!
She is still just as stunning too!

Genius. So many double-entendres 😂
I really enjoyed 'Defending the Guilty. Unfortunately, only 7 episodes due to the pandemic.
Rob. You've got to either turn your mic volume up a 100% , or put on a dynamic enhancer filter on the sound.
I didn't know Katherine was a Tolworth girl, I can see Tolworth Tower from where I'm watching this! 😄

Why is Robert deniro interviewing the lassie from the IT Crowd?
He does look a little like mid ‘90s DeNiro…
I think somebody needs to hire a sound engineer.
Oh, good! So it wasn't just me XD I thought there was something wrong with my headset and had to check.
Soooooooooo quiet
I have always had a huge crush on this beautiful woman... omg how can I crush more. Thank you Rob I realy enjoyed.
Good news, everyone!
In addition to being very talented and funny, she’s also gorgeous. She does have a very ethereal elfin princess type look and feel to her.
