In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Not surprising that Katherine's husband fell for Alex, coming in hot with that 'Tell me what your wife's middle name is or I'll kick your head in' line.
I feel like Catherine has made Alex break character more than any other contestant and we are only 3 episodes in
I think in those three episodes he broke character more than on all the other series together just because of her.
Her name is in the title...

she's a great contestant, seems very genuine and her humor is quite unexpected and effective

@@Orangecatinahoodie our little Alex in real life is 6.2 feet / 1m88, so not that little.
I find that when they sit next each other the difference isn't that visible.
And you can always use little tricks to make someone look taller if needed.
But, sure, this interview could cause something similar to the end of the world!
@@thevoiceofwisdom I am aware that Alex isn’t actually 5’4 but I did now just notice that they don’t look that different when sitting but I also believe that is partially because Greg kinda slouches into his throne
If they did that, they'd still make Horne wear an oversized suit and Davis wear one that was too small for him, just to keep the joke alive.

She’s adorable, and I love how she doesn’t take herself too seriously and literally just roasted herself this whole interview.
Well, she does say that she's very intelligent, that her hair looks great and possibly more stuff I forgot by now.

The funniest part is seeing an actor really struggle with the concept of pretending to be another person 😂

Yeah, same :D And even after watching the first two I thought "Yeah, none of the others will be as much of a trainwreck..." And was wrong again. Although I'm still confident none will be as trippy as Vegas'.

I love Alex and Katherine together. She makes him crack up so much by just being herself. Would love to see more of her being chaotic and Alex struggling to keep the serious persona going.

Katherine is easily one of my favorite contestants ever. Effortlessly likable, hilarious, and one of the most easy to root for people in the history of the show. What a gem

When a contestant starts falling WAY behind in the series, I kinda wish Greg would score them more kindly so they have a chance to end the series...not 20+ points behind the 2nd last place person.

The inevitable awkwardness of these reverse interviews has consistently been comedy gold.

And that's why I love Katherine for being on the show. Yes, she may have been (whoops ;) ) the worst contender out of the series 10 lot, but she never took her losses too serious. And that breakdown while she tried climbing through the christmas tree packer and then just deadpan saying "I weigh 22 stones" was sooo hilarious!

I saw Katherine Parkinson in Dead Funny at The Vaudeville Theatre and she delivered the most inappropriate and not very funny joke in such a dead pan way that we couldn’t stop laughing for five minutes, especially with the rest of the cast’s reaction

Katherine seems like a nice woman, I bet she's a riot on a night out though 🤪🥂🍻🥰 I like the fact that she's not just a great comedy actress but also very witty in real life. I was already a fan of hers but now I stan 😁😂❤

I adore KP...she is brilliant !
