I’m a beginner so I had a super tight foundation chain which warped my entire project and I was sure I had to start over, after at least 40 rows. This video gave me so much confidence that I could fix it and even though I was insanely nervous to try it, it worked out SO well! I cried happy tears, I’m so grateful. THANK YOU for sharing this method!!

I am so happy 😊!! I remember having a comision for a magazine when first tried this method. The sweater was too long and I didn't have time to start all over. It saved me!!! 👍

Amazingly easy to follow with concise and clear directions. Your awesome tip saved my Afghan. After the first 20 rows, my tension changed dramatically. Now I can gift this to someone special without any embarrassing flaws in my work!! Thank you so very much!!

I wasnt sure if this was possible to do! I just started learning how to crochet so the first blanket I made shows my learning progress... a little too clearly. Hopefully I can use this to fix the first 1/3 of the blanket 😂 thank you for this video!

Your instructions helped me save a beautiful project. Thank you so much for taking the time to make the video (it was very clear and using two colors helped a lot.) I was glad I practiced a few times on samples because I had to learn to cut the yarn correctly at the end of the row. It's easy to cut the wrong piece and there goes your good row. You teach to leave a long tail but until it happened on my sample I didn't understand how important it ws.

Thank you so much! I am new to crocheting. I taught myself a few months ago how to make a blanket for my son who is about to leave for his first year in college. My blanket looks pretty good! Except the first two Color blocks. They are too loose and stitching is not uniform. I need to fix it. You just shared how to do that! Again, many thanks.

Thank u for sharing ur redoing method. I shall try it to repair the ugly foundation ch beginning. Why is the beginning of your project always turn out different, too slack, too tight. Am I the only with that problem? And the rest of the project runs smoothly the way you want it to turn out. The trick I used first when I start as a beginner crocheter was to use a smaller crochet hook on the foundation ch then switch crochet hook for the rest of the project. I used nailpolish once or twice in my life. Never again after the 2nd time. Please remove. It's ugly & distracting on video . I understand & respect u worked hard to make the video. I will try ur redo method.

I have a question. If you CUT crochet can you sew the raw edge to prevent the yarn from unraveling?
I do not crochet but i can sew. i have a baby blanket that looks like a rag (it’d be easier to make a new blanket than to patch it at this point which is why that’s not an option). I’d like to preserve a portion of it. Any advice would be helpful!

    • @ByKaterinaDesigns
