If you like these kinds of videos, here is a list of the videos I made building my workshop th-cam.com/video/kdnd06kkFFM/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SomeSkillStudio
I'm looking to cut up to 1/2" plywood length up to 15- 16 inches I've been looking at a XTOOL D1, but saw this on Amazon at a few dollars less. Will have to watch you video at home.
I just got this device and have run into some issues. For starters, did LightBurn see your device through the USB, or did you have to enter it manually? Also... Using Munbyn's recommended settings of 3000 speed and 25% power, I'm not getting any engraving whatsoever. I've got to dial it back to like 100 speed and 100% power. And my lines are squiggly as well. This is my first foray into laser cutting and engraving, so I'll admit to being a newbie, but I've been unable to find much in the way of help or documentation from Munbyn or anyone else. Any perspective would be greatly appreciated!!
Hey, I'm pretty sure I found mine through the USB. How close is your laser to the material. I put my laser as low and close to the material as I could. It sounds like your laser is too far away if it's not engraving and is squiggly lines. MUNBYN told me they have a good customer service team, so I would try to reach out to them.
