What amazingly talented people! I've been listening to Gotan Project since a child, their sound always fills me with a feeling of nostalgia and joy. Simply sensational.
I was first introduced to them maybe 15 years ago by a painter friend of mine. She listened to them as “background music” while working on her art. I started doing the same in grad school and anytime I had a work project that involved serious long term focus (i’m a finance person……far from being an artist). I know very little about this group despite having listened to hundreds of thousands of minutes over the last 15 years. They have always been the music of me being motivated. I love and appreciate what they have given me in my life.
