had mine a few years & a mate got a chronograph and for some reason mine was shooting just over 9ftlb not long after purchasing it, so sent it off to hw100 tuning for a full service and tune, worth every penny very accurate now shooting at 11.5ftlb and trigger feels much nicer pellet on pellet at 40 yards its 1.77 & i have a arken zulus lrf on it used for ratting and rabbiting at night ,just got a hw 97k for day time shooting thats just amazing again accurate as hell even at 50 yards
Great gun, I have the standard length got it when they first came out, I've put an a/m cylinder on it to make it a bit lighter and get a couple more mags out of it. Also got the xlk moderator with the nv008s-lrf
I purchase the weihrauch HW100BP from my local gun shop The scope I'm using is the Hawke sidewinder 8-32x56 20x half mil with a single shot tray 177 calibre sub 12ft lb pellets 10.34 gr jsb EXACT I set my targets at a distance of 108 metres using my range finder 150mm reactive self-adhesive. I was hitting the targets with no problem. I forward my video on to Hawkes Eye TV for Jon to look at. Great review 👍
The HW100 or HW100bp is by far the best pcp for your money. Two things that im surprised weihrauch haven’t changed over the years; change the steel cylinder for an aluminium or titanium cylinder, and have a HUMA regulator.
Stringent German TUV regulations won't allow it - it must be an approved steel cylinder. They don't mess about! An aluminium/carbon wrapped cylinder can be fitted aftermarket in the UK (we care more about daft 12ft/lb limits than failed 300bar cylinders taking your head off!). The HW is regulated, but not a HUMA. Weihrauch manufacture the complete gun, they don't need to buy in 3rd party components. Other brands' regulators often fail, which is why most brands use a 3rd party who is responsible for the warranty, but they sell as 'the best..!'
Got the bpk after owning a kt needed something shorter and it’s a brilliant hunting tool loves the jsb heavys.thinking about a xl mod look forward to see yours.👍
nice bit of kit mate very point able indeed good for the tight barn type ratting i would say but still able to push out to those further shots if needed
They are little tack drivers, when it comes to hunting. They just fill you with confidence, with the accuracy they can achieve. I personally don’t think you can get a better sub 12ft lb rifle, whether it is a HW100 or HW110. They are both brilliant all-rounders and can put rifles twice the price to shame. 👍
It does seem heavy on paper, but you feel that is a false impression once shouldered, so it has caught my interest more. Carrying in the filed is also where the weight can get you. Do you have any recommendations for slings for this rifle? Thanks for the review, you provide some really useful information and views.
@drleighmj You can fit pretty much any sling on this rifle as the front picattiny rail can be used and the wood stock at the rear is easy to drill and fit a rear swivel
Hi - I've enjoyed your reviews of this rifle - cheers! 🙂 A couple of questions if I may: 1. Can you recommend a scope for it? 2. More generally, what spend ratio would you recommend for a gun and scope to pair with it? I.e., if you have a budget of, say £1k, how much goes on the gun and how much goes on the scope? I'm a newbie to the sport and assume there's no point buying a quality gun like this and then sticking a £50 scope on it bought off eBay!!!
Just to say bud the xl mod isn't as quiet as the original moddie . Not a great deal in it but it's noticeable. Got one for my 110 laminate k . Does look nice though.
You must own some airguns fella, I’ve always watched your videos as I find them interesting, do you still own the pro-sport and how are you getting on with it?
Thank you for your informative and plain spoken review of this attractive bull pup.

Yes im hoping so . Its bloody accurate.
I’m thinking of getting a hw 100 t full length rifle just off the looks of it tbh

3:24 great video sir, thanks... besides wiping with a damp cloth, can you say something more about how you clean the stock?
Thats it just a damp cloth i wouldn't use any cleaner as it may effect the coating

You should spend as much as you can on a good scope and mounts to make the most of a quality pcp
Had one, the carbine, great rifle well made and really accurate but shot count let it down, I wish I’d of the normal one tbh.

Sadly i usually sell my older stuff on so i can buy new rifles as im not sponsored nor do i get any free stuff sadly .
You need a nice little Pard 008 on there.
Ive actually just been playing around with it and its now got my ALPEX on it and the Wraiths gone on the HW110K
