    Perfect review yet again. This would be great alongside my gorgeous HW 100T. Outstanding rifle.

    Wish I could afford this bad-boy.. I’m after getting the 110, been saving my pennies for a bit.. love your no kiss arse non sponsored reviews. It’s what gun buyers want to see. Cheers me old mucka.

    My first airgun as a kid was a 7.5 Joule Weihrauch PCP. So for me it was always the most natural thing in the world that an airgun would shoot into the same hole at 15 meters, if it was clamped in for example.
    Boy was I wrong as I later found out with other brands and makes :-)

  • @PiperX1X

    The only airguns I own now are weihrauch hw 110, 100s, 95k and 99s and all are outstanding and in the right hands they are pellet on pellet each time every time, and non are that pellet fussy. Definitely German engineering at its best.
    Stay safe all and as we are at that time of year again take a minute to remember those brave men and woman who made the ultimate sacrifice during past conflicts,
    Their names will liveth for evermore,
    Lest we forget.

    Nice review again Rack. Love the enthusiasm. No contest really, do you want quality German engineering or something from the IKEA lot. Also, not sure from the review, is it accurate?

    Had one of these for a year now, first 2 went back with problems but all good now, you're right about the accuracy I use qys 9.58gr pellets, I've also put an A&M cylinder on it to make it a bit lighter and you get a few more shots, great for ratting with my pard on top👍.

    I love bullpups, same barrel length in a shorter gun and the weight so close to the body, that's just nice. There are a couple of drawbacks tough. Airguns don't need to eject a cartridge, so that's one less. Handling is one other issue , but on the HW 100 the cocking lever opens up spring loaded, rotates the mag, about10 mm of pulling actually cocks the trigger and the push seats the pellet (it doesn't allow double feeding). you can easily do that without looking, it feels natural, from the first time you try it. The really big issue, especially on a Weihrauch, is the trigger. It is further away from the action in a bullpup and so it's most likely creepier and heavier. You liked the trigger, yeah, sure, under one pound and clearly defined,...of course, it's a weihrauch. But how does it compare to the standard model, side by side?

  • @leftymadrid
    @leftymadrid 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That is incredible actually! Seems like a winner for sure. Very nice to see. Fully ambidextrous, sounds great as well!

    Got the karbine in .22, fantastic gun. Just started using the Hades pellets in it, great pairing for a bit of pest control.

    after your review on HW97 synthetic I became the happy owner undewr lever last Christmas and loving every bit of that gun.
    and already started looking for PCP and I am sure your review once again forcing me to buy the gun from same manufacturer the only thing to see is if I should go for HW100 or HW110
    although I might need to sell my kidney for either of them.

    • @aevans692

      im in the same boat , dont know if to get the hw100 or hw110 .... what did you pick .. ?

    • @Mirpurmad
      @Mirpurmad 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aevans692 I have chosen HW110. I have yet to buy it. I have had enough reviews and feedback so I know what to expect. gun is Weihrauch and the plastic "issue" for breech is based on ignorance. there are 9mm pistols firing real bullets with all plastic polymer construction and have no issue. I doubt if a plastic . polymer construction on a pcp with zero recoil will be an issue

    • @aevans692
      @aevans692 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Mirpurmad Hi , I picked up my new gun today ... I was so close to getting the 110 , it felt nice in hand , very balanced and light , looked well built .. the plastic not really an issue for me wasn't really a deciding factor .... (have other polymer guns)
      for me It felt like the 100 was just the the better gun , so I bought the HW100 KT laminate ...

    When you say it’s available in left handed, is it just the stock or is the cocking lever on the opposite side also?

  • @rolexr
    @rolexr 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I´m also a "lefty" and would like to know if it´s better to choose a left hand system for cocking (which is also available)
    or is it eventually even better to handle the lever on the right hand side?

    • @racknload
      @racknload  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Right hand side for me! Makes for faster shooting...

    Got one second hand .177 was only putting out 10.5flbs max. I fixed it. 😉👍
    Only thing with the pistol grip if you have big hands where it meets the stock, as they are two pieces it can be quite rough on the top of your hand where the stock rests. Besides that I can't fault it now.

    The rail is plastic, my advice is take it off and use the dovetail underneath, mine seemed to slightly loose its zero when scope was mounted on the plastic rail but been fine since mounted to the aluminium dovetail, downside is that it doesn’t look quite as good

  • @ClarkesonTheMarksman
    @ClarkesonTheMarksman ปีที่แล้ว

    Is the barreled rifled? And if so can you shoot .22 15 grain non lead Zan slugs, accurately and consistently? In a sub 12ft/lbs?
    Thankyou

    That gun is a hw100 with a rubber stock and it costs 240 pounds more? You would think it would be at least the same price as the 100 considering the 100 has a walnut stock.

    I know you've heard this before, but I've never understood why you do 3 round groups, if only one of the 3 is a flyer then that would spoil the group. 5 shot groups for me is a min, but I always go for a full mag, up to 12 shots, that shows accuracy and consistency. Not taking anything away from what you do because I love your vids, but just saying.

    A nice laminate and it would be a Wildcat killer. Those silly magazines put me off FX's. Even though I own BSA's I do prefer those Weihrauch magazines. They are just not attractive, and for that much money I want something I like to look at. If I wanted a tool not a toy then yes.
