You are a beautiful man, you make it sound awesome and your playing is so so good.... Oh and if you want boost after just buy a Heavy Water :). Also the boost is so powerful in The Dane it just becomes pretty uncontrollable and so so loud.. Luv Ya and thank you...
I just bought one of these and it's better than I thought it would be. I compared it to some of the nicer dirt pedals I have and it just has this clarity, smoothness, and headroom that none of my other drives have. It's really a first rate pedal. Very happy with my purchase.

Well, easiest way to get the Boost behind the OD is to place a heavy waters behind the dane. Ok, now serious: I have to keep on watching (just at 5:09), but for sure know I will watch that intro once again straight afterwards. Man, I have seen many intros of yours and i know you are a really good player, but this one? That guitar, that pedal, and your playing. Man the way you went all in showed what you think about this pedal before you even said a word. And yeah, maybe i will afford a dane one time, but for now i am very lucky to sit down and hearing you play.
You know what youre missing Thorpy? As a total beginner I have no idea what most of your pedals do, on your site and elsewhere, you need to include basic terms like 'reverb', 'delay' , 'overdrive', 'chorus', 'metal' where appropriate, you just assume we all know when I dont 🙂

Ugh…this makes me want a Dane! Apart from the volume knob issue, how would you compare the sound of the Timmy and the Dane? Timmy is my main OD right now.
Does it make the price of Klons look ridiculous? That's all we need to know, so it's price can sky rocket to stupid proportions when it's discontinued! I am a happy owner of ehx russian green and ehxtortion jfet overdrive... also have ehx platform that has a drive, limiter, compressor, swell, knee...so for gain staging i feel pretty good... so do i need this?know klons are stupidly priced since receiving my notaklon from jhs, which was like getting a lego set that wasn't pointless idleness at christmas... don't get me wrong i love pete... he da man... oh i liked and subscribed cause i like your enthusiasm

Lmao improving on what you've done before is a scam! Such a weird take. Especially from an engineer.
Oh please.... I have been inspecting and repairing private jets for 32 years, I have seen many engineers revise their work. Many of the revisions are either Airworthiness Directives, Mandatory Service Bulletins and or Supplemental Type Certificates. My company has forced engineers to revise their designs by submitting Malfunction & Defect reports to the builder of the aircraft and or the FAA. Next time you go to work make sure your pencil has an eraser.

You're only losing one feature...adding the germanium side of the Heavy Water pushing the OD side of The Dane.

I sent 5 e-mails to Danish Pete asking about copy rights related to his guitar tracks. He never answered. On the other hand I was able to chat with Thorpy on messenger for more than 20 minutes. What a great guy! Very knowledgeable, competent. However, I sent 20 E-mails to That Pedal show (B2B matters related to guitars/guitar pedals produced in my country). No reply, whatsoever. I doubt they didn't notice. I think they don't care. And here comes the question, why should I buy guitar pedals they advertise ( or do so in one way or another ) since they bugger me out? So far I don't have good answer to this question... Maybe Danish Pete is very busy soldering his signature guitar pedals? Maybe Mick and Dan are so busy being Mick and Dan in their Anglosaxon hemisphere that they don't have time to answer. Who knows... That's why BYOC/DIY community is always so tempting...
