I think it’s beautiful and maybe as a sun catcher or at least in the sun it will sparkle more. Thank you for being honest about your misgivings. Some people on TH-cam exclaim how wonderful their work is even when it is clearly a flop!
If you want more of the shift to show it does more with a black backing. A clear or whit backing make them more pastel. Very pretty I have this mold and can’t wait to try it out
Brushing the molds is very time consuming and you did a great job. I love the seahorse and I saw your other video where you backed it in black. So so pretty. Love it.
I have that same mold and I used the chameleon mica powders to color it. It came out really nice. I backed it in black though. I will try the translucent backing now, I love how yours came out.
I used a beautiful dark blue with a glitter on a gift I did I made and already gave away instead of black as a backing and the colors were gorgeous only I forgot to take a picture to share
I like it the way it turned out…take a black piece of paper and see what it looks like…maybe because it’s translucent the glitter doesn’t show glittery like you want…just a thought….now onto the next project with hubby…can’t wait to see what you guys do
wow I think this is beautiful. I love your vision! maybe you could have added a tint of color with the glitter. all in all a Beautiful Seahorse!! Thank you
Michelle, I think it turned out really beautiful. I wonder if a finer glitter would show up better. But he is beautiful regardless. ❤❤❤ I have 2 of these molds and made one each for my great nieces and a lizard for my great nephew. Which reminds me I should make a baby dinosaur for his new born brother. 😂
It might not be what you wanted but it is very pretty , it matches your nail polish perfectly too. Maybe if you spray varnish it the sparkle will show up more, that’s what I do with my moulds that have a matte finish. I don’t know. It’s still lovely.
I really do love the seahorse but like you the shimmer is a little disappointing and wonder if you did the back with a darker colour if it would show up a little more not sure but all in all it is beautiful and I’m loving the colours ❤
When you first unmolded it I was a little disappointed that the glitter wasn’t that in your face bling, but when you put it on a black background I could see all the colors of the glitter blinging in the background. On the white background it was somewhat anticlimactic. Overall I like it!
I did add black to the back and clear on top and did another revel in another video. It looks much better now! I just can remember what video I did the reveal in 😁
Turned out pretty even though it's not what you expected. 😁 I think the reason it didn't turn out as sparkly as you expected was because you overdid it with the glitter. That kind of glitter needs space so light can hit it and it can really shine. You'll notice it looks almost solid white (with color splashes) when in the jar but is almost transparent if you look at only one. Basically, the resin compacted it even more which means light travels through it less which means it reflects less colors back. So in the case of this glitter "less is more" is the way to go. 😅 BTW, the reason you have so much mess with the chameleon powders (or any mica powders really) is that you're going straight from jar to mold with loose powder on your brush/sponge. Don't dip directly into the pot, get a fine layer from the lid or at least tap your brush/sponge onto the lid first to get any loose powder off or compacted enough to need to be rubbed off the brush/sponge and you should see less messy results when you "paint" the mold. 😆👍
Thank you for your jokes! Your work is beautiful, subtle, and (I think) very natural. In nature they have to be almost invisible, and you did it! I love it and enjoyed watching. Maria Raquel
As usual Michelle, you have done a excellent job with colors I think the irredecent glitter is perfect. The 2 blue colors are of course my favorite 😊❤😊
Michelle he is beautiful but im like you. I want it perfect 🥰 Those colors were perfect and micro brushes are a must in my craft space. I hate waste! I wonder if topcoating would bring back the sparkle?
I liked it best on the darker background, as it showed the glitter better. Do you think if you backed it with a little black resin, it would show up better?
I'm not sure that I would have put the clear with glitter on. I'm almost positive that I would have used black with a different type of glitter, the glitter seems to be too big in this one. But, it is pretty.
I don't know but I sell one extremely similar called "Heaven" here: www.ebay.com/itm/235287081568?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=acjoyi8kqw-&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=acjoyi8kqw-&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Still beautiful. Maybe you didn't add enough. You were worried about putting too much. Oooo, like the black background. Guess it just needs the backing.
That’s not a wing. It’s a fin. They swim forward and backwards and upwards. Mate for life. Had a friend that had a tank with them and they would come up to his hand when he inserted it in the water. They recognized his hand and would swim around his hand. Very cool creatures. ❤ this seahorse or hippocampus as they’re called.
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 I can relate to that a lot since my stroke. Drives me nuts trying to remember the word and I don’t stop till I do remember it.

I totally agree. I can’t fake excitement especially on camera 😁
It's beautiful A dark background would really make the glitter pop
I ended up coating the back in black later and it looks better!
The reptile turned out beautiful Michelle.
If you want more of the shift to show it does more with a black backing. A clear or whit backing make them more pastel. Very pretty I have this mold and can’t wait to try it out
I ended up backing it in black and top coating it in clear. It’s a little bit better.
He is still really pretty!! ❤ I love the white background!
Brushing the molds is very time consuming and you did a great job. I love the seahorse and I saw your other video where you backed it in black. So so pretty. Love it.
Came out very nice. Glitter probably didn't sink much because it cured faster. But still amazing.
I still love your creation, Michelle. Great job again!!!! :)
He’s as cute as can be. That glitter really shows up on that black background. ❤
It's beautiful Michelle I really love it and it makes a change from black ❤❤❤❤ xxxx
It's pretty glittery!! I think it turned out really well!
Thanks ☺️
I like it both background is ok. The black shows the glitter better ❤
Beautiful! Maybe a more holographic mixed chunky glitter? 🤷♀
I have that same mold and I used the chameleon mica powders to color it. It came out really nice. I backed it in black though. I will try the translucent backing now, I love how yours came out.
That is beautiful love the blue
So nice, I think of you would have backed it in black we would have seen the glitter more. ❤❤ 20:59
IT LOOKS GREAT. PERFECT FOR A BEACH COTTAGE.
Beautiful ❤

Very nice! In one pic at the end, it looks like you packed it with sand! Might be an idea...?
I think it's beautiful.
Beautiful, looks at that black background. It really shows the sparkle ❤
Love it ❤
It still came out pretty. May you could squeak a black back on it. I think the sparkle would really show more. Hey, your nail polish matches.❤
see what it looks like with black paper in the back . i like it !! sorry added comment before the vid was ended lol
I love him. What if you put a black behind it. Acrylic paint or resin top coat

@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 You're welcome! Hope I helped a bit. 😅
Great idea! I think using a micro or fine glitter would have give you more sparkle. Even if you just mixed it in with the glitter you used. 🤔
Yes, I agree, wrong choice of glitter on this one! Merry Christmas Holly!
Maybe a black back coat or dark blue.
I like the micro brush idea looks easier than my regular one the seahorse is gorgeous Michelle
Love it ❤
perhaps try another with a black glitter ?. i do think it looks nice as is thow :)
Thank you for your jokes!

It’s so pretty Michelle way better than mine came out ❤
As usual Michelle, you have done a excellent job with colors I think the irredecent glitter is perfect. The 2 blue colors are of course my favorite 😊❤😊
I wonder what that glitter looks like usually, kinda looks really bubbly. I love that lighter blue colour shift powder, very pretty.
Usually it's a really really pretty glitter! That's why I chose it but it backfired on me this time! UGH..
Absolutely beautiful love how it came out so cute xxx
Incredible patience!! Was the glitter too big?? It's still pretty.
I’m not sure 🤔
ill give a comment on the project later but i love your jokes funny funny keep it in lol haha
You could try to put a top coat with your gloves on, like I do for my resin rocks, and maybe the glitter might come to life. It’s worth a try! 🇨🇦
Great tip!
Michelle he is beautiful but im like you. I want it perfect 🥰 Those colors were perfect and micro brushes are a must in my craft space. I hate waste! I wonder if topcoating would bring back the sparkle?
It probably would! Next time I have clear left I will try it. 😊
Ice blues and silvers are my favs so I think it's beautiful, probably the glitter just not the best for sparkle, but I love it!
I totally agree!
Beautiful just wanted to say that let's resin make a set of holographic glitters, they are amazing
Oh thank you!
I really love it. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Hi maybe put black on his back but he looks fabulous.
I think a much finer glitter would sparkle more but I still like it.
If you back him with black or a dark color like navy he will be glittery. I use that glitter a lot but I always back it. 😊
I did and the reveal will be on an upcoming video.😊
I wonder if one drop of alcohol ink would highlight the Glitter.
I liked it best on the darker background, as it showed the glitter better. Do you think if you backed it with a little black resin, it would show up better?
I’m thinking so, so many people have responded just like this!
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 If you decide to do it, please show us how it turns out.😊
I think he looks great!!!
If you want more of a glittery look, could you pour over him with resin and fine glitter???
Personally, I like him!❤
Great idea!!
Beautiful! Needs light behind it. Glitter was too clear? Wow! Looks more like a real seahorse on the light color background.
I had an update on the seahorse in the silicone mold making video 🙂
Very pretty. Is it because it cured in the machine and didn't have time for glitter to drop?
Could be 🤔
It's darling Michelle
Is it possible that there was too much glitter? Maybe, the glitter was overcrowded preventing the light from getting through. Just a thought.
Hi Michelle, a Holographic Glitter would show up much better...great project and video though!
Love this seahorse. Love the colors, but the clear resin looks cloudy an not clear, or is that the glitter making it look cloudy?
Bad choice of glitter unfortunately 😞
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 sad hope you decide to redo and show. Pretty mold. I've never done resin before lol scared to
I fixed it up and showed it on one of my recent videos I just can’t remember which video 🤦♀️ possibly the one making silicone molds.
I'm not sure that I would have put the clear with glitter on. I'm almost positive that I would have used black with a different type of glitter, the glitter seems to be too big in this one. But, it is pretty.
Does that glitter you used have a name ? Other than pearly iridescent?

you still have to tap tap tap the extra powder off!
Still beautiful. Maybe you didn't add enough. You were worried about putting too much.
Oooo, like the black background. Guess it just needs the backing.
I backed it in black after the fact and it’s a bit better 👍
I think maybe it's the glitter
That opal glitter is translucent so that's why it doesn't sparkle as much.
Looks great if the back was darker I bet the glitter would have showed up better great work as always.Love the jokes by the way.
Thanks so much😊
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Michelle when you wake up in the morning take the seahorse out into the Sun and then you shall see a little bit more glitter
He's cute

Too much glitter and to little contrast 😘
