I used to skip whenever some tennis game comes in TV but i accidentally watched her game vs some USA player and she won. I became fan of tennis now.

I am so happy for Naomi even though Serena will always be the GREATEST tennis player. Let us not forget that Naomi is Serena when Serena was at her age. At 17 Serena already had a Grand Slam.

Will her legacy be superseded?! Who knows? Probably not.

Yes, Serena is the greatest tennis player. And, she may come back like Tiger Woods...don't count her out because she lost a few.

A young Turk has defeated the Dragon Slayer who was herself a young Turk demolishing former Dragon Slayers like Steffi Graf and Davenport.
Its a changing of the guards. Serena had an epic run and is a definite LEGEND. But now its Naomi Osaka's time and wish best of luck in the Finals!!!

Sorry, but people like you are always mentioning that Serena demolished Graf, when in fact they have only played twice and Graf won 1 (6-2 3-6 7-5) and Serena won 1 (6-3 3-6 7-5). Both of their matches went to 3 sets. In fact, in those two matches, Serena won a total of 29 games but Graf won 30 games. Not exactly domination. These matches occurred when Graf was no longer in her prime in 1999 at the age of 30. Graf later retired that year.

Brilliant to see naomi at the top in tennis a great future lies ahead for her such a beautiful person a great role model for all kids too time for serena to walk away gracefully if she can tho I'm not sure she will and disappointed tho not surprised she said she lost because of her errors it's never that she was beaten by the better player she never changes
