I love both Kyosho and the Savage... on the Savage there are two holes under so you can put your hex through to untighten the engine screws... I've been working on my XL and 4.6 the last 2 days they are a lot of work but when they work they're a blast to drive
I have recently found that out. I feel kinda stupid for taking half the car appart
@@NitroMike happened to me too.lol. since I've been working on them I know what to do now... I think it's pretty easy to work on them now... I also filled my differentials with 500K... I just searched Savage differential removal on TH-cam found out it's just a few bolts to do so....
On the savage make a air scoop like drag cars have be easier and shoot air straight to it

I use a cooling fan to keep my savage cool u Wana use a cheap 10 15 dollar fan not no turbo brushless bullshit high power fan it will be just too much nd keep ur temps too low just cheap low power fan does wonders actually I straight run 20 tanks plus straight nd never had overheating issues again
Je kan die schroeven berijken via de gaatjes met een hex schroevendraaier hoeft niet alles eraf te halen en dan heb je de motor zo eruit
Ik heb dat al geprobeerd maar de gaten zitten er niet goed op. Ik kan hierdoor niet bij de motor schroeven
@@NitroMike nee joh raar heb nu 6 savages en bij allemaal lukt dat hoor lange inbus sleutel en dan kun je erbij echt geloof me
@@saidmarmichi795 ik heb een andere motor erop zitten met een ander soort houder. De schroeven zitten bij mij op andere plekken
@@NitroMike ooo oke anders mpet het gewoon lukken als je een andere motorsteun gebruikt dan van savages dan ligt dat anders

buy the savage parts used, its much cheaper. And about the wheelhexes on the savage, i would buy the kyosho madforce hexes and fit them in there so you can use truggy tires on that thing
I want to keep the Savage .21 stock wheels since I like the look of them but those wheels use a weird 14mm wheelhex and I miss only one :(
