    Correction: The braking result should say 42.81m @ 3.29 seconds.
    Apologies.

      Hey there,
      Have you had a chance to try or even review the Tiggo 8 Pro? It shares the same chassis as this car, but it's actually heavier. In fact, I believe it's the heaviest car they've put on this chassis. Since you have some mixed feelings about this car, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the Tiggo 8 Pro. I can't imagine how a heavier car would handle on the same chassis.

    Of course Swinging the steering like that is supposed to wobble the car, what did you expect 😂🤡

    I feel like things such as toe, camber, sway and rebound aren't really thought about any more when it comes to mass produced vehicles. You're right about the camera, if you need to rely on ADAS, then don't drive at all.

    I’m not against Chinese cars. But, I’ve driven a few Chinese cars at my workplace and most of them are a bit mediocre and some of the things they put are unnecessary. I like your honest and unbiased reviews of cars. I’ll always watch your reviews

      exactly ! but for the price I'm fine with those mediocre features, I once drove a Chery omoda 5 a coupe-like car in Australia and it performed well, I was surprised when I know the price was less than 20k USD, if this in states it would sell out quickly

    My dad bought me a 2024 BMW 320i LCI. It has no leather seats, no rear view camera, no power tailgate, no sunroof, and the list goes on.
    Would you advise me to exchange for the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max? I won't have to pay any difference.

    You need to please educate yourself on the cars you review. Most of the issues you mentioned with the radars and sensors you can turn off. I've got one myself. Reviewing one and living with one is not the same. Amazing car. Under educated review

    • @drivingenthusiastaustralia
      @drivingenthusiastaustralia  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just because they can be turned off doesn’t mean they are good. They need to be calibrated. I’ve tested over 1000 cars and this was one of the worst in terms of ADAS calibration and suspension tuning. I wouldn’t recommend this car to anyone in its current state.

    Driving in sport mode will give you ridiculously high consumption
    In eco mode - local / city driving I average 7.5-8L / 100km
    Long distance open road I average 7-7.5L/100Km
    In sport mode you are bound to experience wheel spin - drive it in standard or eco mode and this is MINIMAL
    It's Chinese yeah - but German cars from personal experience have their faults as well (all companies do)
    But yeah these are just some of my personal opinions - value for money this car puts a Haval H6 away all day 👌🏻 and I've driven and used both

    Reviewing it like a sports car which it is not. The average driver will easily get 7.5/100, since they won't be doing burnouts.
    It might not be the best out there BUT those other brands are not 3times better as their prices suggest, it will find its way into many homes without a doubt

    Doing a lot of wheelspin for not a lot of forward motion.. must really be junk tyres. imagine trying to accelerate in a bit of a hurry in the wet

    • @drivingenthusiastaustralia
      @drivingenthusiastaustralia  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, I drove it in the wet during my time with this example. It was alarmingly skittish, spinning very easily with only mild throttle. And the traction control seems to engage late in the process.

    drives like shit, Chery in Australia needs some improvement, i got the tiggo 8 2.0t fwd here in Indonesia, and i got surprised at how it drives. I drove all sorts of cars, and i can definitely tell the tiggo 8 is right on the money. The only negative thing i hate is how it handle, needs some modification to suspension for it to corner better , and the stock tire is shite can't handle the torque. Actually someone touged the suv too😂th-cam.com/video/lbyJLwQJTbQ/w-d-xo.html

    I don't know why people buy Chinese cars especially SUVs they have no real strength, they have all the bells and whistles that people want but don't really need all these bells and whistles will eventually go tits up because Chinese products are garbage even the new Volvos are garbage and they are heavily dependent on Chinese money and tech. Give me an older Japanese SUV all day long. Chinese cars for me are like knock off mobile phones on Ebay they look tempting but are limited and fall apart after a set time. Just throw away cars with no quality or conviction. Should we be buying from China anyway? if you factor in replacement parts and their availability and quality then its a definite no to me
