Peter's mind is taken over by the aggressive Symbiote, leading him to attack enemies and cause chaos. He rejects help from Reed and spirals further. Aunt May is trapped in a fire, but Peter's inability to save her fuels his rage. He battles Hobgoblin and kills him in anger. He confronts Jonah and threatens him. Peter kills Scorpion and confronts Kingpin. Sinister Six forms, including Eddie.
Peter learns their plans and location, kills Mysterio, defeats others, and Jonah aids in removing Symbiote. Craven realizes the truth. The Symbiote survives secretly. Jonah drives Peter home, unaware Symbiote remains.

Much as he paints Spidey as a menace, I do enjoy the times that show Jameson is indeed a good guy deep down.
