- This OnePlus 7T tips and tricks guide shows off just a few of the new and updated OxygenOS 10.0 and Android 10 features found on the OP7T. From tweaking the new 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display to those bonus camera features, here's how to get the most from your shiny OnePlus 7T. This latest version of OxygenOS 10 feels very familiar, sporting the same look and feel as previous efforts. However, this launcher is still one of the best, boasting great features and a reasonably stock Android vibe.

I've got one question: how many version there is of OxygenOS apart from the Chinese one? I just bought a Chinese 7t that has been flashed with the international OxygenOS. I would like to know this international OxygenOS that I will find is the same that is used in the UK, or if it can be different, even though it won't be the HydrogenOS Chinese. Guys there's a function in the Op7t that allows you to momentarily reduce the size of your screen to make you able to use the phone with one hand only.. are you able to tell me how I can do that in my phone? cheers

They will be at least in part or better. OnePlus has the best haptic of Android along side Google and Samsung now

How can we Switch Off and Restart the One Plus 7t like the other One Plus devices were use to get restart, switch off and screenshot options on long pressing of the Home button at the side!

Hold the power button on the right side and select power off or restart. To take a screen shot hold volume down and the power button at the same time. Hope this helps 🙂

Thank you for the video. I just discovered these features on my new 1+7T. Device is super snappy and gorgeous. One thing observed whilst using the gesture navigation is that I can no longer see my hidden apps. Is there any way to get them back?

@@ogichhh The camera quality is good. It's neither outstanding nor average. It's good. OnePlus is known to better the camera quality of their phones through software updates though. I have already got 2 software updates regarding camera.
About battery life, I'm a non gamer. I don't play any games at all. Just internet browsing, calls, TH-cam and social media apps. I regularly get a SOT of over 6.5 hours. The screen is always set to 90hz
@@Aakash.Singh1 you can install the google camera apk on onplus to get that sweet software processing that gives the pixels superb quality photos! Don't know if it supports multiple lenses tho

is the 7t had a headphone jack and a sd card place it would be a huge win for me. But im pretty unsure atm. mi 9t is pretty tempting too
Why do you need an SD card? The higher variant gives you 256 GB which is more than you'll likely ever need.
And the 3.5mm to USB-C adapter on the OnePlus online store works perfectly with 3.5mm headphones.
@@GuruPrasanna I put all my photos and videos on a sd card. Its easy to just slip into my laptop. Also you can have mutliple sd cards.
the headphone jack is more of an annoyance. Like why do I have to pay 15 quid more for a wire I could lose for something that should already be in the phone.
@@scanjet1000 makes sense. It's sad that the headphone jack is going off from almost all new phones. I guess it's not practical to expect it anymore. As for the SD card though, you could use the cloud as an alternative - an SD card isn't safe either.

It has already arrived for the 6T. Use the Oxygen Updater to update it if you don't have the ota.

Yes it is, you can choose between old and new gestures.
It's not there. Just the new navigation and the 3-button status bar.

Did you notice the screen bug while calling and the phone is on your ear? It is because there is no infrared. The phone registrates if the phone is on your ear via software and it is not precise.. i really love the phone, but this bug is annoying.. i hope an update will solve it
Bought itbabfew days ago and so far it's fantastic. My only complaint is with the autobrightness . Its not consistent and can go too dark and flickers sometimes . Otherwise it's quite a nifty not so little phone

This phone is driving me out of my ever-loving mind. I just purchased it two days ago at the T-Mobile store and the voice texting is absolutely horrid. I tried every trick in the book that is there to improve it. It keeps missing the first word of every sentence when I turn on the voice texting and no matter how slow or loud or fast I talk, it just messes everything up constantly. I had a beat-up 6 model that was better. This was supposed to be an upgrade

Totally agree. The camera is totally an improvement but not a reason to upgrade from my OP5. Besides, OP5 still gonna receive the Android 10 sometime next year which will revive it for another year of use.
Looks so fluid and easy.... BUT IT'S CRAP when you put the case on. The target area is too narrow and just swiping to home takes multiple attempts

I was at the official page 2 hours before the launch to buy it and watching the countdown i must be from the first hundreds who order it. I don't regret it at all! But i wish Oxygen OS had themes would be awesome. I use as main launcher the Nova Launcher and makes it even better. I also for curiosity i added gcam but didn't saw any difference, i expect to fix the software for the camera i know it can do more than it gives now. First i was concerned about the battery but i do not play games at all or watching videos(very long at least) just some TH-cam fast. I upgrade it from Mi9 i know about the difference in price but Xiaomi refusing use OIS is annoying, the only i miss are the themes and the MIUI in general. I was going for pro at first but i said "why give more money for just a little more bigger screen?" and also saw videos that is not comfort using it with one hand.
7t has everything i want in a phone except the formfactor. The phone is too big imo. Still waiting for a smaller phone with oled 90hz display and triple camera setup.
I only hated ugly tear drop notch & punch hole. I still love full screen futuristic pop up selfie camera. I don't use front selfie camera alot. I never video call anyone, nobody video calls me, I'm not using face unlock either. I use fingerprint or pattern.
