I've still got my S8 that I purchased in May 2017.
I'm buying a new phone soon and I'm actually thinking of just getting another S8 or S9 as this has definitely been the best phone I've ever owned.
It's never let me down and it still works just as well as the first day I used it.
Albeit a bit slower to react, but not to the point of most 2 year old phones - or 1 year old in Apples case lol.
Honestly older phones feel like they were better. I had till recently a s5 from 2015 when it launched and it was still usable, just outdated.

You should do the Motorola One Zoom next, I'm curious about what it will do, especially when I'm hearing of owners shattering their screens easily, I think you should do a test on that phone.
For the bending test, you should make a test bench so that the force is readable for the tested phones. :)

The back of my 7pro broke once . Sent it in to get fixed. A month later it broke again. Never dropped.

I have a 7T. My husband has my old 6T, since I upgraded. I love the features and absolutely love the camera, it even has a Zen feature that locks your phone by a timer set by you, so you can enjoy real life for 20 mins or so 😊 definitely never going back to iPhone.
Oh, and the 6T is pretty durable, I did break my after the one zillionth fall, but it has also been able to survive on my husband's hands(after being replaced), and I've got to say he's gonna have it for many years, he doesn't like spending money.
