    Haha I knew you’d be one of the first to get this up!
    I have to admit, this particular Tauer doesn’t excite me. I’m not really drawn to gourmand fragrances, and as silly as this may sound, I don’t like the bottle design on this.
    That said, I just blind bought Phi for a very good price, and will definitely be getting Golestan eventually, as I have yet to find a white floral I like more.

    • @SeldomlyOften
      @SeldomlyOften  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@nathanielmoody3656 I feel this one will not be for everyone, it’s quite direct in its concept. I’m not a huge fan of the art either but at least the bottle is the usual shape; it’s ok!
      PHI and Golestan are amazing 🤩

    Great job as always, Daniel. I think there is something terribly thrilling in blind-buying a perfume, even if I did only a handful of time (and I got always lucky). Tauer is not my thing, his scents are overly dry, but now that I see how much attention he spends in preparing his shippings, I am temped to buy one...let's see

    • @SeldomlyOften
      @SeldomlyOften  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This one is also quite dry but out of the ones I tried I might be the most sweet. PHI is also gorgeous!
      Probably the least dry are the two fresher ones: Alpes Suisses and Phyaloblue.

    Just saw your review on fragrantica! I also got my decant of portrait of a lady in a few days ago and the opening was very different than what I was expecting. Gonna order some samples of Tauer incense rose , amouage incense rose (decant got crushed by UPS sadly), and amouage royal tobacco today to try them out after hearing about your reviews. Do you have any recommendations of darker rose fragrances without the green vibe? Also thanks as always for your high quality videos!

      @@wattamugen4055 thanks for stopping by and commenting!
      Tauer Incense Rosé doesn’t have much rose in it, it’s a strange fragrance that didn’t work out for me.
      Amouage Rose Incense is gorgeous but I would not say it’s dark, is dry, powdery and cold with a white, sweet, incense smoke.
      Royal Tobacco is incredible!
      I would say that the darkest rose I tried and own is Oud Satin Mood Extrait, no green in there, just a thick creamy rose with a molten heart of sweet lava.

    My sample of this is on its way and I'm really excited to try it. I love Tauer and I really want to see what his vision of a cacao gourmand is. I'm a bit jealous of the goodies you get in your packages. lol. I also order direct from him, but in the US he uses a fulfillment warehouse in California (I think it's run by LuckyScent) and they don't really give you much extra except for a sample or two. Still worth it to support him, though.

    Not a fan of the new large stickers….such a downgrade IMO but I can see why he would do it for marketing purposes.
