I’m a simple person, I see Andy Tauer and I reach for money! I think you really did it justice and looking forward to those Tauer impressions 😁
Yes, he is just so charming and his fragrances are all bangers. I just feel like supporting the guy. Also I get free next day shipping being in Switzerland 🇨🇭
More of his to come, I have 6 bottles 😎
@@SeldomlyOften If you live in Switzerland you should definitely visit the antique store in downtown Zürich (if you don't already know it) where he started selling his perfumes, many years ago. I bought a couple of bottles for a very good price just a year ago.
An iconic and highly rated scent to be sure. I think you nailed the Jubilation reference. Very similar genre, although more grainy/dusty like you mentioned. I'll have to give those bar soaps a try!
The soaps are amazing. I’ll review my other Tauer fragrances in due time 👍
Also a big fan of Andy’s work, from the packaging to the juice, everything has a lovely consistent thread. The only complaint I have is the atomizer is terrible!
Yeah seriously, I even wrote to him saying I would gladly pay 2$ more if it meant a better sprayer
Great review. I really like your styl. Cheers.
Thanks for the comment, always much appreciated!
My favourite Tauer is always the one I was just wearing! Another top review man thanks
Agreed, all of them are unique in their own way. Thanks so much for the appreciation ❤️
I see Tauer and I subscribe. Simple as that
How would you compare the drydown of LDDM with Grand Soir?
@@RobertLaTuso Grand Soir is way cleaner and simple; very elegant and understated. LDDM is a little spicy with that weird Tauer dry/dusty effect
Have you ever tried an Attar or fragrance oil?
I recently acquired a full sample set of Amouage attars! I’ll be doing a 4 part first i pression series 🙂
Have you also sampled/worn the extrait version of this, Au Coeur Du Desert?
@@RyanMcDonnough I wore a sample of it. I’m still on the fence about which one I like more. My mind says Extrait because it’s dense and oily but my heart actually goes for the warm air feeling of the original. The scent profile is basically the same.
@@SeldomlyOften
Is the extrait more dense to the point of negatively affecting projection/sillage?
I want to get samples of both to test. I’m just curious what the differences are if the scent profile is identical. Seems like some extraits end-up projecting less than their EDT/EDP counterparts.
@@RyanMcDonnough in this case you are basically trading longevity with projection. The main difference is the dryness and the airiness that LDDM has compared to the more oily nature of the Extrait. The original is super unique in this way.

Thank you for clarifying! 🙏🏻

Ha, wish I was getting payed for it 😬
