Get a smart video recording app
Lock ISO to 50 to have grain-free images
    Frame rate: 24 FPS
Shutter speed for proper motion blur: double the frame rate -> 48
Bring down brightness with a ND Filter: PolarPro is the way to go
Learn how to move iPhone to replicate old cinema cameras
No pivoting from the wrist, pivot with your body: shoulder, hips, legs.
Use a flat picture profile to color grade your footage as normal, gives you more dynamic range.
Someone else add that last step he mentioned I’m outta here lol

I watched a few of those ploar pro sponsored videos now and all the footage is just not sharp. Yes you get the supposedly cinematic motion blur that most people besides camera youtubers do not care about but for that you trade your quality a few iPhone models back. Plus all the motion blur on mobile cameras just looks wrong anyways unless you have your phone on a tripod because everything gets blurry when you move the phone and not just the things you want. In the scene with the running dogs for example you could have filmed them in the native camera app and they would have been sharp while the background would have been blurry.

I just returned the soma a6400 with the dji ronin s to go back to shooting w my iPhone! Carrying around 10 lbs of gear on a vacation, just for vacation is a bit extreme. Especially when you consider the camera stability of the iPhone alone, match it with the osmo 3 is uncanny for the weight. Plus it’s water proof and stupid portable. Better audio just add a rhode video pro plus or a ride micro. I’m also going to start filming in flat with filmic pro in 1080 and 4K and add luts in free davinchi resolve
