I was in the shop and I suddenly thought ‘I actually don’t know that the difference is here!’ So if I’m thinking it hopefully 🤞 it helps someone else thinking it 🤣🤣🤣
The way the pritt glue and contact adhesive pealed away but kept the basing material together makes me wonder if you spread enough over a largish surface area and covered it with basing material could it be used as terrain mat you could potentially roll up for storage?
I pretty much exclusively use Gorilla products for multiple hobby & real life uses. They make multiple glues that fantastically all work for their purpose. But for hobbying I use the superglue for plastics or resins & contact adhesive for glueing large pieces of XPS. Great review mind!
The best glue for plastic models is either Revell Contacta Professional or Tamiya extra thin. Don't use superglue for plastic to plastic, the bond is too brittle. Leave it for resin applications only.
Testing glues, so we don't have to! 🙂 On a vaguely related topic, I found out just how melty plastic glue is. Back in my teenage days, I had a eurofighter model, but it was very bottom heavy and wanted to tip back all the time. Being the eager lad I was, I thought I'll glue some lead pellets in the nose cone... It worked for the intended purpose, but I also used plastic glue. That was a very droopy and melted nose cone come the morning 😂
Im here to see what one of these glues will be best for magnetizing my warhammer for models if use Tamiya extra thin liquid cement glue and use superglue for magnetizing or basing
Plastic model cement is best as you can fine tune the parts position while they glue/dry. Superglue only gives you one shot to get the part placement correct and is too brittle!
Nice review. I ran similar experiments back in the metal mini days. You may have saved newer hobbyists a time, money and frustration.

That!! Is a very good question!! And one that I will answer soon enough because I want to know 👍👍🤣🤣

I didn’t think I foam 😅, honestly I was just in the shop and thought ‘what’s the difference?’ And then here we are 😂😂

Fair ☺️, I only used what I could find in the shops. But that’s a great bit of advice 👍
This was an interesting video idea
I was trying something 😅😅
THE STONE BROKE BEFORE THE GLUE DID

Omg!! I did a similar thing but with a spitfire 🤣🤣 I can still hear my dad telling me “don’t use to much” … whoops 🤣

Turns out good old super glue will do 👍

Very useful video.i use citadel plastic glue..but it is very hurd to glue parts together..its not normal?
Cant say I’ve ever used Citadels glue even tho I have a pot of it somewhere 😅
Love your content. But the 2 main glue’s i use or Revelle or Tamiya cement glue.
For plastics I’m definitely in agreement with you there 👍
@@RIGMiniatures thank you
I used tamiya while doing 10 cadian shock troops. ( There down now have a great day).
No worries chap 👍 enjoy the rest of your weekend ☺️
@@RIGMiniatures you to
👍👍👍
