I’ve been recommending that people who wants to get caught up with One Piece watch some of the movies (Episode of East Blue, Episode of Chopper, Adventures in Alabasta, and Episode of Skypiea (in that order)) or playing the Pirate Warriors games. We got that mostly from European cooking traditions, so I guess it's something Europe has shifted away from more recently.
