Definitely one of my very favorite TH-cam channels! Thank you because it helps me deal with my chronic pain caused by a drunk driver. Don't drink and drive or text & drive.
You guys are awesome! I had you at my house twice this year. Thank goodness it was too early for babies. For anyone that needs a raccoon removal, do yourself a favour and get the roof vents covered at the same time. That's why they came to my house twice. Once to put the one way door on the initial point of entry to our attic. I opted to wait and see what would happen, and the raccoon decided to make another point of entry. Haven't had any fur friends since. I love them but none of us want them making homes in our houses.
This channel popped up on my home feed. Great job! Love how you put them in the box for the mom to come back to get them. Very professional company 👍🦝🐿️🦝🐿️🦝🐿️
Love your content! From Buffalo, NY- I had a raccoon in my inaccessible attic 3 weeks ago. I was able to find and remove the 5 1.5 week old babies and reunite them with mom then cover access after she relocated them! The insight your channel provided was invaluable!
About 25 years ago I had the same issue with a mom and 3 babies. She ripped a hole in my roof ($600 in damage) getting her babies out, got spooked and returned them all to the attic. Goofy neighbors acted like I was raising raccoons to eat their children - so vicious, you know. Only company I found willing to remove raccoons was a trapper in his 70s missing at least 4 fingers. He had me convinced the mom would fall through the ceiling and attack us. He caught the 3 mobile babies, and only then did I think to ask what what he'd do with them. (Destroy(. He set traps for the mom, caught all the neighborhood cats and I told him to be done. Poor mom came back and stared at me thru the kitchen window in daylight looking so forlorn, as though saying, "Why?" If only I knew then what I know now. 😥
@@americanjedi5952 This company is from Ontario Canada. I love that this company save wildlife ……. We have to save our wildlife because in Canada we r taking their habitats. Glad to hear you actually cared and would do things differently. I do hope the trapper didn’t destroy them but he probably did Because he is a trapper.
Another awesome rescue. The mum was really protective of her babies You were right about Mum Racoon coming back to take babies. She took her first kit in the afternoon and didn't come back for the other 3 for another 3½hrs. Hi from uk
Laughed that she was biting the knife blade and grabbed the camera haaaaaaaa haaaaaa she is protecting the babies haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. So so funny. Good for her
I'm learning interesting facts about the wildlife and enjoying watching how these wonderful people save the critters and the home owners all at once. Our home is surrounded by wildlife and we've paid a pretty penny for mama squirrel roof damage. Thank you so much for your services.
The mother raccoon is not aggressive, she simply tries to protect her young, she tries to discourage you, intimidate you, and push you away with her growls.
She is dedicated. It took 4 hours between the time she got the first baby until she came back for the second but she came back. After that she got the rest of them fairly quickly.
FLIR makes a thermal camera attachment for your iPhone for $400 that would let you see the thermal signature of animals behind sheetrock. It works for plumbing pipes as well :-)
If you hadn't been able to get baby #4 would you have let her move the whole litter back in until they grew up? How many weeks would that have taken (Asking for a friend)?
i would love to have these cute animals. but I live in Australia. I do have a few possums living under my floorboards, and I put out 2 apples and some slices of bread each night for them.
I have a nylon fish net at home just in case i find young raccoons in the bottom of dumsters. They grab onto the net immediately. Dont use any other material that can cause them to get caught in the net. Once they were adolescents & heavy so i had to just release them from the top of the dumpster. I saw one of them walk towards the wild area. The other one was still under a car. They were not tiny so they figured it out im sure. Mom was not there yet.
I live in Ohio. I was talking to a girl today that works for her family owned business doing wildlife extractions. She said that laws are different in Ohio and raccoons are not released after they catch them. I didn't ask what they do with them after catching them because I was afraid of what I would do and say to her. I am investigating the laws here so I can report this to proper people. I Love all wildlife and especially raccoons and there kits.
I'm guessing these are steps you take after eviction fluid has proven ineffective? Had a mom not collect her young from the box the other day. A first.
So you just let them go in the neighborhood? Is that not like putting tape over a leak and then poking a hole in it? Not trying to be rude, just curious.
Great job, the sad thing is that those animals going to another house. Canada has a senseless law for relocating. The raccoons need to be let go into the forest.
Ok that's a odd question why my house lady that happens most home it doesn't matter who house how the Raccoons always try to fine a way to get inside a home, so silly question 😅
Alternate Den Site, somebody else's attic, cellar, chimney etc. So, if the next home owner hires a company that views Raccoons as vermin, carriers of rabies and other diseases, one dead Mama and babies; correct me if I'm wrong.
@@jerimorgan4114 Where are they located? I live in So California. People are really into rehab and relocating wildlife back into the wild etc. Never heard of releasing an animal back into a LARGE neighborhood, for the very reasons I previously listed. If the law states they must release them back into a neighborhood, that state doesn't have a favorable view of raccoons They have to know sooner rather than someone is going to eliminate the problem permanently.
They are in Ontario, Canada. I understand that it seems that the problem is only going to move to another house/building and the outcome could be worse. @@Gloria-ro4vn

You gotta love these raccoons so protective & so loving their babies. Good mamma's
You say that until they destroy your house and you see all the stuff they do to your property when they're making their nest

Boy she was really cussing you guys out! She is doing a great job of defending her home and babies. Very interesting
That mama is a scrapper! Thought she was even going to charge you on the roof before she decided to run off.
Thanks for the new video.

You need an infrared sensor to find where they are
I don’t see how they can live in that fiberglass insulation . That stuff makes me itch just looking at it.

So what else should they do?? Their laws require that wildlife be relocated within 1km of where they are found.
