Damn straight, I have been a nostalgia racing fan ever since my dad told me "this was how I watched them run." And my dad has several trophies from running Stock at Lions, Halfmoon Bay, Bakersfield, etc. He was just in high school back , told me those were his glory days.
I didn't get to go this year and have been avoiding the outcome, waiting for your video. Great video as always. It's a lot more exciting when you don't already know what happened. Kind of feel sorry for Adam 2 runners up in a row, and his Dads trophy on top of that.
pretty neat there's a SBC in that mix. As far as nostalgia, they're front engine dragsters but recent cars with current safety packages. Most noticeable change is driver sits higher to see over motor. Has to be a thrill seeing flames lay back approaching traps.
I miss the time that didn't have so many rules. it was just a super powerful engine on top of steel bars, wheels and a guy sitting on the differential. and of course 50% chance of dying.
the surfers had their shit together or at least got it together. I read a lot about them. used one of their father's jeweler lathes to make parts and used much higher volum fuel pumps, lines and injectors. their car was said to sound way different than the others. wicked!
These films set the bar very high, they are the classics of the future Thank You
These nostalgia top fullers running the full 1/4 mile are better to watch than the modern top fuelers over the shorter distance IMO

A little slice of drag racing heaven out in the middle of nowhere...Love the MARCH MEET.
These videos are all masterpieces!
Great movie Les! Many thanks for all you do to promote nostalgia racing.
Whooohooo!
The drivers must clang when they walk with all of that brass in their shorts
Production is beyond belief. Some of the best work in all of entertainment. Thank you.
Her Adam! It's ME Michael skewes from fotocrap!
Fantastic video. Those drivers have very large balls.
Thank you for sharing.

Amazing video, I really want to get down there next year for March Meet.. Looks like crazy amounts of fun.
Love those top end shots. Incredible footage and great editing. I almost thought I was there a few times.
I'd build a 392 hemi, front engine. There feet are safe with the new brlhouding
Bellhousing. If I became a driver now. I'd go with that setup. Only time will tell!!!
a amazing how quick and fast these dragsters are with so little down force .
Nitro America is the best under ground racing channel, top notch!!!
Really love the focus of this one Les, possibly your best yet.
Awesome film.
imagine one of these with larger slicks and modern funny car motor

Doesn't seem to be as much "smokin the tires" as the rear engine cars today.
