  • Hey Everyone! In this discussion style video, I show you what all can be made on a scroll saw! For a tool that doesn't take a big footprint in a workspace, it packs quite a punch and is very versatile! I show you all a sample of various projects that can be made on the saw. Keep in mind I strictly stay on the woodworking side of things that can be made ( A Scroll Saw can also cut soft metals and acrylics) Hope you all like the video!

    I was given a hegner scroll saw and I am learning how to use it and hopefully it won't take long to become efficient on the saw

    So I got into scrolling, by looking on TH-cam, I thought I could do that, well I bought a Wen 16" scroll saw, used it for about 6 months, then wanted to upgraded, so I bought a Dealt 788 20" which made scrolling 100% more enjoyable

    Great job explaining what can be done on the Scrollsaw Tyler, I always go to Steve's Good website for inspiration or to 1 of my many scrollsaw books about 30 of them from fret work to wildlife to toys there is always to cut, I sit and cut and zone out listening to music very therapeutic again Tyler Thanks for helping to keep the Scrollsaw community going

      The Pegus is an amazing scroll saw and a quality tool, Although, Rikon has got a scroll saw out now that is very similar to the Pegus

    Excellent timing! I just bought my first scrollsaw for a little project I'm working on, and as I generally do when approaching a new coat, I wandered over to Reddit to see what information there was to be had. The very first post I see in /r/Scrollsaw is your post about this video. 16 minutes later, and I'm all excited about trying out my new scrollsaw! Thanks for all the inspiration. Bonus: I see the Myrtle Beach shirt and I think, oh, maybe this Pirate fellow is a SC guy. Then I see the Scrap Exchange picture in the background and I think, oho me hearty, maybe an NC guy? Turns out we're both in the same area! (Burlington vs Hillsborough). After browsing through your other videos, I'm going to try and make a trip to Kingsport in Cary tomorrow. If I see you doing another demonstration there or elsewhere in the area, I'll definitely plan on attending! Thanks again!

      Hey! Sorry for the late reply, thanks for the kind words! I'm happy to help anyone out on the scroll saw and teach them! Please don't hesitate to ask questions! And yes, I love Myrtle Beach and go frequently and love the Scrap Exchange!

    Might be better to ask: What can't you make with a Scrollsaw? Great job, Tyler.

    Hey! I was curious if your craftsman uses the pin-held, or non-pins. Nevermind, I see you answered it. Cool!

    Do you have a video pn disassembly and greasing the delta? I have the same saw but it seems a bit more vibrating than it shpuld.

    • @ArtisanPirate
      @ArtisanPirate  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, I do not have a video like that but my buddy Matt at "Awesome Wood Things" has a great video on taking apart and greasing a dewalt 788 saw, they are essentially the same and I used his video to grease the bearings in my Delta
