My instructor gave me a great tip - to book a test for the early morning (mine was at 8:20am) so there was hardly any traffic and the roads were much quieter than it is later in the day. It only started getting busier as my test was coming to an end. Good luck to anyone with their test coming up!

For anyone in the area. I suggest Wanstead, it's pretty quiet around midday and its nice. Chingford is just B roads and longer roads Barking is ok as well, but not my fave Personally I like Wanstead, prolly cuz I passed there 1st time.

mate are you allowed to use your heel for clutch control in first gear or must you use the whole foot and strategically lift? i have long legs and find it hard to do in a hatchback car

Hey Lily you can use 2 feet in an automatic but it's usually not a good idea. it's harder to control the car smoothly. but you wont be penalised for doing it if you do it well.

im pissed man my examiner was in some bitchy mood tell me how i got 4 minors and two seriouses this guy was emotional that i missed one turn now i cant even rebook for months ffs my examiner didnt even talk to me at all nothing not even a how are you guys attitude was peak cheers for the fail and there goes £125 for the test.

At 12.30. Any route. Expect dual carriageway route, roundabouts, mini roundabouts, lots of meet and greet, roads will be flowing. Not too busy for any particular type of roads. Hence, you could get any route. From an ADI

The pass rate in goodmayes is around 43% the last time i checked (now around 37%, last time checked was May 2023)
