Great idea…. Great suggestions (albeit I’ve only seen 2 of them !). Having seen Les Miz and Phantom multiple times I’d of thought Phantom might be better ….as much spectacle (if not more) and the storyline is simpler. 2 other suggestions (I) opera or dance (many years ago saw an opera at Bastille in Paris with French subtitles which helped) (2) other suggestion would be to watch movie (or film of show) beforehand with subtitles of your first language to better understand story (Hamilton would have been a lot easier if I had better understood basic storyline and characters having now watched on Netflix)
I’m so glad you liked it! 😊 I agree that Phantom is definitely a bit more glamorous but went for Les Miz cause the movie was pretty popular when it came out so thought more people might have seen it.
