What injectors should I get for my 7.3L Powerstroke? It's a loaded question, but it's a question we get a lot. It always comes down to what the truck will be used for. In this case, we had a customer whose truck is a dedicated tow rig that stays heavy 90% of the time, but still wanted more power for that other 10%... Can you do a video about towing at higher elevation? I have to tow over Donner summit. Its brutal in the summer, my max is usually 10-12k fully loaded.
Idk what you drive by my 02 7.3 dually with banks intercooler. Misihmoto trans cooler, aluminum radiator. 160/00 and kc stage 1 turbo pulls my 40ft 3 axle tow hauler that’s 18,345 lbs with full tanks and gear just fine all summer up donner and all the other passes In Oregon and Washington and California. Truck has 320k miles and she never gets hot even on the hottest days in middle of summer

i suppose this is also keeping in reliability. I do have a question, why is a cgi block better?
Stage 1 160/0 fully turned up gets 400hp. What’s recommended for any power between 4-500?
So a set of AC injectors ?
If you want brand new that’s a good way to go. I think Alliant sells them. You can save some money sending used ones to a builder but warranties will vary.
I have an 02 f350 7.3 just picked it up stock everything I'm upgrading the turbo then injectors

Please advise! I bought the unicorn. 99 f350 7.3 long bed ex cab, my dream.... had fuel in coolant so $4700 in the shop for new glow plugs, injector rings and cups, plus more. Then , the po308 code. They said they "buzz" tested #8 and it was good so they put Hotshot stiction eliminator in it and want me to drive it.
I feel they should have replaced the injectors while doing all this and have. I faith in driving it without possibly damaging the head.
It was a workhorse for hauling, but not towing. I need max power over towing, but I still plan to tow a flatbed trailer with 12 lumber on it.
What the heck do I do now. A quick and easy fix? Can I drive? I'd rather put more $$$ into best injector but need time for the $$.
That's a pretty loaded question, and I don't really have an easy answer. That could be a bad injector or a bad valve cover harness. I would definitely keep in touch with the shop to make sure they are aware that you're having an issue. Sorry I can't really be specific! Good luck and congrats on the truck purchase!

How on earth do i know what injectors are in my truck? I have them our right now. All i know is that the person or pre owner daid its had bigger injectors put in. But thats all the info i have
The only real way to know is to send them off for flow testing. You can have a tuner play around with the tuning and things like EGTs and idle quality can tell you some, but most tuners prefer to know exactly what hardware they are working with first. If I had them out, I would send them off for flow testing and to have them checked out anyway.
I have a obs 7.3 97 I was thinking about getting 180cc 30 anyone have any suggestions or should I go with 160 I’m not trying to make a race truck but I want more power and I only pull my camper which is 8000 pounds

I have a 97 too I'm going with the 205 30 just because they are hybrid and they aren't too big you can't pull
What will a 97 7.3 make?
97s can make the same power as the Super Duty trucks, they just have smaller injectors, smaller hpop, non-intercooled, and a worse fuel system, so some of those things may need to be upgraded to keep up with a healthy SD running the same aftermarket injectors.
